Chapter 20: Homesickness

Nikki's POV

Have you ever felt this nagging pain in your chest ,that hurts? That's exactly how I feel,   the only  difference  being that I can't get rid of it. I  am  currently  staring over the balcony at the beautiful vast forest and missing home.

It's been  two and a half years with no family contact. I  am  worried that my family  might have moved on without me. Who am I  kidding  ? I'm scared that  they won't remember me.

Is Natalie dating now?, Has Stanley  started a family?, Is Leslie in college?  and  my best friend  Jessica ...
There are a million questions  running  through my head and  yet no answers.

It's been  three months  here. So far I  love it here. Everyone treats me well  but Leo treats me like a queen.
Sean  and I have  become  the best of friends. The man is a walking Teddy.  He's  such a love sick puppy.
The whole  gang has been pretty busy this  whole week , apparently  one of  Demetrio's   rivary  gang attacked one of his  clubs.

Demetrio was busy speaking to the Maria's around and negotiating business.
I felt out of place making my way towards the bar I tried to hide in the shadows.  Upon arriving and taking a seat, the bar tender asked what a fine lady like me was doing here  lonely . We picked up a conversation that soon led to giggles and laughs. I felt a light tap on my shoulder, it was Tybaras .
He dragged me away harshly.

"Tybaras your hurting my arm"he didn't pay heed to my warrant.
"What the fuck? Leave me the hell alone!"He left my arm roughly which led me to loose my balance and fall but first.
Then the giggling started, laughter soon took over. Tybaras had embarrassed me before all these people.

The tears began to streak down my cheeks, I quickly rose up and ran to the ladies.
"Nicole, you there? "There was a long pause.
"I apologise for my behaviour it's just that..."He softly said .
"Boss was fuming when  he sawfly warming up to Sean. Sean is a member of the black Knights ,an assassin to be exact . I slowly opened the door to seea solemn Tybaras.  Who would ever think that the big bad sniper had a soft spot.  I wrapped my arms around him .

Tybaras tried to  convince me to go out but I refused.  I could never show my face ever again, come to think of it why was  Tybaras in the Ladies.  Just then  two bimbos walked in laughing about something I had no care of.

They were startled to see Tybaras around. I expected them to yell or ran out but they shocked me when the blonde bimbo wrapped her arms around Tybaras and pushed her fake boots out.I could tell Tybaras felt rather uncomfortable from the nervous glances he kept on throwing at me. She tried to get his attention while her fellow brunette unzipped his pants ,I could tell where this was going so I left.

As I slowly closed the door behind me mouthing the words 'Have fun' to him . He looked lost 
I felt a hand quickly cover my mouth, I tried screaming but it was pointless, the figure carried me over his shoulder into a little room,an equipment room to be exact. The hand left my face and I quickly tried to look at the person but it was pitch black.
