Chapter 22

Nicole's POV

I am sitting in a room with a blind fold on . The maids did come to bathe and dress me up. They were gentle and very sweet.
Honestly, I feel like a lamb going to the slaughter house. I heard a door creak open and loud manly footsteps ,then I heard more footsteps. The adrenaline began to pump through my veins . Someone snickered and a deep chuckle followed. I was slightly agitated what was so amusing.

I felt a cold hand grab my thigh then it hit me . I had been blind folded throughout my cleaning up thus I did not see what attire I was put in .
The hand ran up further onto my hip , I shuddered. At this point my only desire was to flee far away from here. I don't want to lose my dignity this way . The hand was roughly yanked off my thigh . I heard an ugly shriek and then punches finally a loud bang rang through the room.

There was a few minutes of silence. I was picked up and dragged out of the room only for my blindfold to come off and see Hunter and Damien.

Hunter hadn't changed much his blonde hair and thick blonde beard frame his face . He looked bulkier as though he must have been working out more recently. He had a weird toothy grin plastered on his face making his emerald eyes sparkle ,they held mischief and danger behind them.

"Baby girl, its been a while. " He said cheerfully as his fingers caressed my face . I felt disgusted yet I stayed calm and ignored him.

" oh and by the way you look very pleasing to the eyes ,I will have to tip my girls for the good work done. I told you I would be back and I kept my word . Ahwww don't play deaf to my words ." He said while smirking

"Where is he to save you ? The moron only wanted to take advantage of you and disposeyou off but thanks to Damien here ...." Damien smirked and winked" ... I have finally got what I rightfully own and it was very easy "

At this point I had had enough. This shit had to end and I could only end it. There's only one thing he wanted , he wanted me to be his then I'll give him me .

I gasped and began to move frantically, I felt a sharp pain on my thigh, there's no doubt I wouldn't be left with a bruise. He continued his task . I felt his wood poking my thigh ,he reached for my panties tears stained my cheeks, before he could go any further the door suddenly swung open.

Hunter scrambled off me reaching for his short gun from the side table. I lay on the bed too weak to acknowledge my saviour instead I allowed the darkness to take over.

Demetrio's POV

We were able to attack the black knights on their blind side. My men blasted the doors and took care of our enemy while Tybaras, Lucas and I searched for my princess.

Finding her was proving difficult but I had to not loose hope. As I searched the empty rooms ,horrible images of her flashed through my head. I will not be able to forgive myself if anything bad happens to her.

I realise I feel something more than lust for her... I am in love with her but I cannot reveal this to her until I know she's also madly in love with me. I finally chanced upon a huge wooden door that was different from all the others ,sensing that she could be in here I twisted the knob only to find out it was locked.

I quickly contacted the boys that I had found her . Tybaras came to set up the explosives ,the door tore apart leaving a puff of particles and smoke in the air.

We walked through the door only to see Hunter scrambling for his short gun and loading it with bullets , seeing him dressed and my princess laying unconscious beside him angered me .

In a blink of an eye , I knocked him down laying punch after punch on his face leaving it bloody and bruised . I felt hands wrap around my waist prying me away from the bloody mess preventing me from ending the scumbags life.

We planned to torture him slowly till death . Walking slowly towards my princess , I examen her only to see her swollen cheeks, battered body all bruised up . I felt sad ...sad that she was in this state, soo vulnerable and weak.

My subconscious taunted me reminding me that it was my fault. I didn't come in time to save her .

Something snapped in me as ,I turned to beat the idiot ,only to see he was making a run for it,quickly alerting the boys we chased after him . Since this was his territory, he knew it inside out.
We hit a dead end, a balcony to be exact the idiot walked to and fro trying to figure out his next move.

"Well ,well, well seems like the track has ended "I said smugly.
"I will never surrender to you not today but rather never " He spat out . " you've always been the best ,in school, the mafia and you even got yourself a treasure. WHY?
"Your literally the devil how did you get such a pure innocent soul, we both know you don't deserve her ,she deserves better!"

This guy was boring me to death, I needed to shut him up. My beast was quickly rising to the surface, it wanted blood and wouldn't be calm until it got what it wanted .

I lunged at him toppling to the ground as I sat on top of him beating him mercilessly. All i could see was red, the jerk smirked which angered me .I trippled my punches leaving him busted with blood seeping out of him.

"Demetrio " I heard an angelic voice call out .
