It was a warm day in spring. Everything was settled for your dream wedding with the love of your life, George Weasley. And you're very sure that the wedding would be like you've always imagined it. But you knew that there would be something missing. A piece of the puzzle that would make the wedding incomplete.

You glanced at the clock and took a deep breath. Within a few minutes you would say yes to him. And dear god, you couldn't wait any longer. You looked at yourself in the mirror and played with the lace of your train that hung over your face. You should be happy. And you're happy because George and you had come a long way. But ... the puzzle wouldn't be complete.

A lot of people were skeptical about the wedding. Even though you and George have been together for already five years. Some of them kept on saying: "It shouldn't be like that", because in their eyes you both 'deserved better'. The Weasley's weren't very happy about it either, but they accepted it. And they accepted you as becoming a part of the family. They saw how happy you made George - especially after the loss of Fred - and they knew that you weren't that bad as they thought you was. So they accepted it - minus more.

Your family on the other hand was totally against your relationship and especially against the wedding.

"Are you sure you don't want me to come with you?" George asked.

"I'm very sure babe. Look this is something I should do on my own George.. You know they won't be happy with the news and I don't want them to hurt you.." you said while putting your jacket on. George sighed but knew you're right about that. Maybe the Malfoys would take the news a bit better without his presence. You walked to your future husband and gave him a kiss. "I'll see you within a few hours!" you said. "Be careful!" you heard George say before you apparated to your old home.

It was weird to be back. You looked to the huge mansion, took a deep breath and walked to the door. A house elf opened the door.

"Mrs. Malfoy", the elf said with a high pitched voice and bowed. "Are my parents home?" you asked. "They are. Come in! Pixie will tell them that the Malfoy daughter has returned." You looked around and realized that nothing had changed. Even the smell of the house was the same.

"Y/N?" you heard your mother ask. "Mother." you replied and looked into her eyes. You'd to admit, you missed her! She walked towards you and hesitated to give you a hug. So you made it easier for her and hugged her first.

"Tell me you're coming back!" she whispered.

"I'm not ..." you replied.

"Then why are you here darling?"

"I have something important to tell you.."

Your mother looked around the house. "Come" she said and took your hand. "Your father is in a meeting. We have some time to talk before he's finished.." She took you to the living room and called Pixie to make some tea.
