Cardfight Vanguard (Ayumi Haruko x Aichi Sendou)

The Tournament continues and Semifinal

Ayumi's POV

So far in the Tournament, Kai, Kamui, and Misaki have all advanced to the second round as well as Aichi. Aichi and were looking at the tournament layout. "Looks like Misaki, Kai, and Kamui has all advanced." I said. "I'm gonna have to work harder to keep up with them." Aichi said. "I'll know you'll do it." I said.

"There you are you two." We turned from the layout sheet to see Morikawa talking to us. "You're not gonna believe this match!" Izaki said. "Huh?" I thought. We went over to see the Ninja guy from early, battling against someone. "He looks A LOT like Mr. Mark." I thought.

Aichi seemed to be having fun though, so I didn't mind. "This tournament sure attracts different people huh?" Aichi asked, smiling. "You got that right." I replied. "Oh that guy. He shows up here every six months when we hold big events and he's always dressed as a Ninja Master." Misaki said, walking over to us.

"Really?" Aichi asked. " I'm not sure if he's one of our regular customers or not. I mean with that mask on, nobody knows who he is." Misaki said. "But... Why does he wear a mask?" I asked.

"Isn't it obviously?! He hides his identity to protect his loved ones!" Morikawa said. "Interesting..." I said. "That..must be it." Aichi added, giving a awkward smile.

"Well, the results if round one are in." Shin said. Apparently in the next match, Aichi was going against the Ninja Master M. We then look around and saw he was gone.
"Look, he's gone." Morikawa exclaimed. "No, he's not." "Yup." Me and Misaki said, pointing to a terrible looking fake wall. "He does know he stands out, right?" I said.

We watched as the assistant cat knocked down his fake paper wall, revealing him. "Um?" I thought. "It would appear you broken through my secret ninja hiding technique, are you also a ninja?" The ninja asked the cat.

The Ninja for some reason knew Aichi, me, Morikawa, and Izaki. Aichi at least, figured it out, only for Mr Mark to try and deny it. "So not good at lying." I said. "Check. Is this thing on?" Shin said, talking into a mic.

"Could I have the attention of all those fighters who won the first round to come and stand over here please?" "Now's my chance! Smoke bomb!" The Ninja said. "Look out." I said, calmly. We then saw as Mr. Mark was still here, even after the "smoke bomb."

"Um, aren't you supposed to disappear in the smoke?" I thought. Shin calls the winners up and paired Aichi against Mr. Mark and Kai against Inaba, a fighter who won the tournament three years in a row.
