Chapter 11

"That explains everything!"

Adrien chuckled awkwardly as Rena Rouge made all of the connections of how he was Chat Noir.

"You're always late, making excuses, and bailing on your friends!" Rena Rouge exclaimed.

"Uh...I don't bail on my friends--" Adrien said awkwardly.

"We should get going," Master Fu said. Alya put her hands on her hips in a superhero-like pose.

"We all need to make sure that all of the civilians of Paris are safe," said Master Fu. He held up his wrist, where his green band was. Wayzz put his hand on his owner's shoulder.

"Master, you shouldn't."

"Wayzz, Paris needs help!"

"Let Adrien be Carapace," said the little green kwami. "It's the only way."

Master Fu looked up at Adrien. "Are you willing to do it? It won't be the same as being Chat Noir."

Adrien took in a deep breath. "Yes. I will do whatever it takes."

Fu smiled. "I knew I chose the right Chat Noir." He slipped off the green bracelet and gently placed it into Adrien's hand. He put it on. "Now say, Wayzz, shell up!"

"Wayzz, shell up!"

A blinding flash of green came out of the bracelet. Adrien felt a cloak and hood form. Yellow goggles appeared on his face, and a large shield came on his arm.

After the transformation was complete, Rena Rouge clapped.

"I'm ready."

Adrien's Carapace now!! What do you think of that? Sorry this is such a short chapter, but it's necessary to the plot. I'm anxiously waiting for the second half of season 2 to come on Netflix!! I love ml....
