A blinding flash erupted out of Gabriel. His whole body lit up in the same white light as Midnight's eyes. Adrien moved his body to protect the weakened Marinette. A biting wind blasted against them. Adrien could feel bits of glass digging into his skin.
Marinette mustn't get hurt!
The wind howled. The white butterflies were swept up into the whirlwind around Gabriel Agreste. He was blindingly white, and Adrien couldn't even look at him.
The tornado whipped up Adrien's blood-soaked jacket. Marinette's hair slipped out of their ponytails. Adrien gripped Marinette's body. She didn't move.
"Father!" he cried, his blond locks whipping across his forehead. Tears slipped off of his cheeks and onto Marinette's.
Marinette felt too still in his arms.
"Stop!"
The tornado slowed down, and the white light ceased.
Gabriel Agreste stood calmly, in his civilian clothes, the rubble circled around him. He turned.
"No..." whimpered Adrien.
His father's eyes glowed white, almost like what Midnight's eyes had looked like. A sinister expression dominated his face.
Adrien pressed his face into Marinette's shoulder..
Suddenly, something whipped through the air. Something shattered.
Adrien jerked up his head. His cheeks shone with tears. He glanced around the room in confusion. Something white caught his eye on the floor by the window.
The dark butterfly that had escaped from Marinette's ponytail was now pure white again, but split in two.
Eagleflight was hovering over Gabriel Agreste. His white eyes gazed into her yellow ones. She pointed her sword at his heart. It glinted in the moonlight from the window, where a large crack had formed from her entrance.
"I am Eagleflight, one of the protectors of Paris. You have threatened my friends. I must protect the rest of the people." She raised her sword over her head.
"No!"
Eagleflight didn't stop. She launched the sword at Gabriel's heart.
Adrien watched in horror as the silver metal plunged itself into his father's body.
A horrific scream shook the room.
Gabriel Agreste turned blindingly white.
Adrien clutched Marinette. He couldn't look away, look away look away look away--
But the white body was still standing, the sword in its body. Gabriel Agreste fell from it with a dull thud, unharmed.
The white body that remained dissipated into the air. Eagleflight's sword plunged to the floor, point side down. The end sank into the floor. The handle vibrated a little before settling.
Ladybug's earrings and Chat Noir's ring fell with a series of clinks.
His father's white eyes faded to normal. Gabriel blinked in confusion.
"You did it," breathed Adrien. "I believed you could."
Eagleflight smiled at him, still hovering. "Now I know why I was chosen," she said. "I have the ability to kill the person that forms should they ever acquire Ladybug and Chat Noir's Miraculous." She gazed down at the fallen jewelry. "I'm glad I was able to do it."
Adrien glanced down at Marinette. Her breathing was shallow, and she was unconscious. He turned her to her side and saw a large piece of glass wedged in her back.
"Father, call 911!"

I love Eagleflight's character. Even though she ran away from the first battle, she came back. Her character development is everything in this story. Btw...who do you think she is? Guess in the comments!
I love this story so much!
peace out,
