For a split second I forgot what day it was but the smell of pancakes coming from downstairs proves that it's sunday.

Nanna and I have a tradition to have pancakes every sunday for as long as I can remember. And although I can't seem to recall what was the reason for our small Sunday ritual, we have never broken it

It smells like she made my favorite, blueberry and banana, I only have it at least once a month so that I dont get tired of it you know sometimes when you get something to much you don't appreciate it as much, so  she must have chosen today.

I'm trying not to think about all the things we're going to have to do  today when I reach the fully unpacked kitchen. Nanna probably spent all night getting everything ready and on track according to her schedule.

"At what time did you finish Nanna?" I ask knowing that she probably spent hours on it. "where  you even able to get some sleep?"

"I finished about an hour ago and I have not yet slept but I'll be fine." she says placing a plate of pancakes infront of me.

"Wait did you go grocery shopping in the middle of the night. I'm pretty sure there wasnt milk eggs and pancake mix just sitting around."

"No of course I didn't. I had Simon go pick these up for me while I finished, and told him we'd go get everything we needed when you woke up, he insisted on buying everything on the list. So when you're done with the pancakes go change, so that we can head out."

"No way, you get some sleep and I'll go down to the store and get everything on the list. Okay, I promise to wake you when I come back so that we can stay on schedule." I say knowing she probably didn't want to but its not fair that she didn't get sime rest. She really needs to understand that not every thing has to be done so quickly.

"Okay sweetie, I appreciate it. The schedule is up on the fridge." she says going up the stairs.

I really don't want to unpack everything in my boxes so I go upstairs and and change back into what I was wearing yesterday on the plane ride over here, skinny jeans, a loose white tank and my comfy sandals.

I think that its a pretty comfy outfit to go grocery shopping in. Although my hair is another story, you know how you either have straight, curly or wavy hair, yeah well my hair is indecisive. Sometimes it's flat, other times it's wavy and sometimes its even curly.

Since today it seems like my hair is wavy and not a pretty wavy, I decided to make french braid as I walk down the stairs and into the kitchen to get the list

Damn it's pretty long, I'll probably take and hour and a half to get every thing on this list, Nanna is seriously crazy. I mean we dont need all this stuff so soon, okay maybe the cookies and the ice cream yes but all this different kinds of meats and sauces come on. But I guess she just wants to be prepared.

I head out to the cabin outside where Simon is staying. I didn't mind him staying with us inside the house but he insisted that he would be more comfortable staying out here. Simon has been our driver, me and nanna that is, since I was 7. He's like part of the family just like Nanna is.

I knocked maybe once when the door swung open "Good morning Snow, are you guys ready to head out?"

"Yeah but it's only going to be me since I let Nanna take a nap while I get everything on the list." I say getting into the car. Maybe Simon knows about the things on the list that I don't.

"Hey, Simon" I ask while he gets into the front seat "do you think you can help me out with some of the things on the list"

"Of course honey. It looks like a very long list and its going to take some time." he says as he pulls over in front of a small store.
