As I continued to walk through the town the feeling of being watched wasn't going away and now I was even more annoyed. I decided to walk towards the exit of the town, whoever was following me would have to come out of hiding now. It wasn't long before I was out in the open, I glanced back; whoever was following me didn't step out from where they were hiding.

"I know you are there." I said. Nothing happened for a moment, but then the old man from the bar stepped out from where he was hiding. I hadn't expected him honestly, even I was caught off guard once in a great while.

"I'm surprised you noticed me so quickly." The man said, I just shrugged a little. He could tell I was in no mood for small talk.

"Right to the point than." He said and cleared his throat a little.

"The young man from the bar earlier turned pale when he saw you, and he was glaring at you. Why is that?" He asked. For an old man he sure did notice a lot, and he hadn't seen me when when I got up in the bar. Or had he but didn't acknowledge it?

"Why are you asking?" I asked not answering his question, I didn't know who the hell he was. Why should I answer his question?

"Because that young man obviously hates you and he wasn't me train him." The old man said, I actually laughed at that.

"Your nothing but an old man." I said and now he was the one who looked annoyed, he went to speak but I cut him off.

"I have seen many like you before, you used to kill to protect your town. After a while you promised not to kill anymore. It probably has been ten years since you picked up a sword." I said looking at him, smirking a little.

"How'd you know that." He asked, dumb founded.

"Like I said, I have seen many like you." I said moving towards him.

"But their is one difference between me, you, and the young man." I said to him, next to him now.

"What is that?" He asked. I leaned in towards his ear.

"I kill for fun." I whispered, a visible shiver ran down his spine. I smirked more and left him standing their.

I returned to the bar, my comrade was talking to someone so I took a seat at the bar. Not to long after some guy joined me. He started to talk to me but after one icy glare he left. I had no reason to talk to a stranger. I sat by myself with a beer in front of me. I listened to some conversations but none were interesting. As time passed I grew more bored, I ended up leaving after another beer; three in total. I walked back to my room at the inn and sat on the bed, leaning against the wall with my sword in my lap. I closed my eyes, darkness. Oh how I loved the dark.
