just like to start this chapter off with I hate the first chapter & idk what's wrong with me lmao ok we good bye
It was Grace's first period of the day. Science. She was good at science, but she had no interest in it what so ever. The teacher had a boring monotone voice and all the kids looked like they'd rather be watching a plant grow instead of sitting in the classroom for any longer.
After the teacher was done his lesson he told the class about a new group project. Grace and Michael were always partners because well, Michael doesn't want to share his best friend with anyone else. "You will need four people in your group, choose whoever you want I don't care." he muttered as he walked back to his desk.
Grace and Michael immediately partnered up and didn't know anyone else that would want to be partners with them. "Hey Grace, wanna be partners?" Luke yelled from half way across the room. All of his annoying but very cute friends chuckled. Apparently Michael wasn't in the mood for anyone's shit that day. Michael stood up and pushed his chair all the way back and made sure he tucked it in.
He started making his way over to Luke and his annoying jock friends. "Do you think it's funny to make fun of people like that? It hurts Grace's feelings you know. What happened to you Luke? We used to be best friends. Me you Grace, we used to hang out all the time." Michael spoke quickly.
"Yeah, I guess we were at one point, but then Grace turned out like that and you turned out gay."
Grace heard exactly what Luke had said to Michael and decided that that was the last straw. She made her way over to Luke and yelled right in his face. "First of all, I may be fat, I may be not the best looking girl in this school, but it couldn't care less about how I look and personally I love how I look okay? I have fat on my body and you know what Luke? Thats normal for people to have that. I just happen to have more than other people my age. Second, don't you dare make fun of Michael for being gay. That doesn't change the fact that he's a wonderful person. Now please just leave us the fuck alone."
The whole class looked shocked and some looked scared. Some even we're recording it probably making it their story on snapchat. Grace didn't care. She stood up for herself and her friend and she was proud of herself for doing so.
After Grace and Michael had gone back to their seat, they turned themselves on their chair so they were facing away from Luke. Right after they sat down two boys walked up to the two. One looked Asian and the other one looked like he could squish a pumpkin with two fingers because he was so buff. "Hey uh my names Calum and it's cool that you stood up for yourselves and each other really, no one ever stands up to Luke. They're all afraid of him." Grace wasn't very used to talking to other people so Michael replied for her.
"Thank you, what's your guys' names?"
The Asian looking one said "Hi I'm calum hood and I'm 18"
The muscular boy replied with a high pitched voice, "Hi I'm Ashton!"
Grace could tell that these boys were nice so she introduced herself and Michael. "Uhm, well I'm Grace and this is Michael. Do you want to be partners with us for this project?" Grace asked hoping they didn't already have partners.
"If that's alright with your friend Michael!" Ashton replied.
Grace turned around to look at Michael and saw that he was totally zoned out, staring at Calum. She knew he thought he was attractive, and well she did too.
Grace nudged Michael on the shoulder and all Michael could say was "Calum you're really hot." Once he realized what he had said, he bolted out of the door and there was Luke laughing his ass off with his annoying friends.
okay so Luke doesn't want to b a dick but he feels like he has to because all his friends are assholes and Luke just rly wants to be popular
