ok so before I start this chapter everyone was asking why Grace isn't that big but it's because I realized that I just wanted her to be a chubby and not huge because I know people that are the weight "grace" is and I want them to feel beautiful too :)))
I changed it to 190 pounds now ok (idk if that's too big now but wkwowpwk whatever DEAL WITH IT) if u guys want her bigger ill do that to make u all happy bc ily all sorry if it offended anyone in any way :(

Grace couldn't sleep that night. She kept replaying what Luke told her over and over again in her mind. Did she want him back in her life? She knew that she did but she didn't want to admit it. She wants to hate him but really, who can hate Luke Hemmings?
She was confused and needed her mind to stop overthinking so she texted her group chat.
To: Cal,Ash, gay boi (GAY BOI IM LAUGJINF SO HARD JUST SAY IT OUT LOUD)
Grace: hey guys I'm bored
Cal: Sup I'm eating almonds
Ash: Why the fuck are you eating almonds
gay boi: Grace do you wanna go for a walk??
Ash: Hey let's all go for a drive see you all in 10!!
(that was their groupchat convo if ur confused)

Ashton came and picked up Grace last which meant she had to sit in the back with Calum. They decided to go to a beach and just have fun since no one else would be there.
As soon as Ashton pulled over and parked, Michael ran out because he had to pee. Calum ran right after him saying that he really had to go as well.
Ashton and Grace showed the two others where they would be so they wouldn't get lost after they pissed. Ashton laid down all the blankets nicely onto the sand as Grace looked out to the water.
Ashton stood up and noticed Grace staring out into the water. He saw her long eyelashes almost touching her brows and how cute her nose and mouth was.
Grace could feel his eyes burning into the side of her face so she hid it with her hair. She didn't want to show Ashton that she was blushing.
"Hey you guys wanna go in the water?" Ashton asked just as Calum and Michael for back.
"Uhm I don't think that's such a good idea, Grace isn't all that comfortable with it." Michael muttered quietly.
"Why wouldn't I be comfortable? Yeah I got some extra fat but I don't give a fuck. Also, it's just you guys so I really couldn't care less.." Grace smirked.
Ashton looked amazed at what Grace had just said. He's had girlfriends in the past that we're much skinnier than Grace and hated their bodies. Hearing a girl say something like that shocked him. Especially someone as big as Grace.

After they finished swimming it was around 2 am. They were sitting in Ashton's car with the heat all the way up. They decided to park in the 7-11 parking lot just to stay warm in the car for a while because they all agreed that the night wasn't over just yet.
No matter how many times Grace kept trying to get Ashton to drive her home so she could watch the new episode of gossip girl, he wouldn't let her leave.
She stopped trying realizing that she was stuck with them for the rest of the night.
An hour or so passed and they were still in the parking lot. Calum's head was leaning up against Michael's shoulder while he was snoring in the backseat. Michael obviously didn't mind though. He wanted to take selfies but that would've been a bit too weird.
"Hey Ash?" Grace whispered, trying her best not to wake up Calum.
"Yeah what you need?" Ashton answered not taking his eyes off the steering wheel.
"Did you mean it? What you said back at the beach. Do you really think I'm the coolest girl you've ever met?" Grace kinda knew it was, she just wanted to hear him say it.
"Yeah, it's just cool how you're so cool with yourself while there's girls twig thin and they still feel like their too big you know?" Ashton spoke finally looking up.
"Well, uhm, thanks. Means a lot. It's nice to hear some nice words from someone else other than my parents and Michael." She giggled.
Ashton didn't say anything but instead he let out his contagious laugh, waking Calum up from his deep sleep.

Grace woke up the next morning with seven text messages. Three from her mom, one from Ashton, one from her phone company saying she's used too much data, and one from an unsaved number.
She replied to Ashton first telling him good morning then checked the other texts. Her mom didn't say anything important, just that they were going out for dinner that night so she needed to dress nice.
Lastly, she checked the unknown number. It said, "Hey you can probably figure out who this is. Please just hear me out. I miss you."
Grace sighed immediately knowing that it was Luke who sent that message. She wanted to delete it and keep him out of her life, but another part of her wanted to go see him and hear what he needs to say.
"I've give him enough chances haven't I?"
"Fuck should I meet him?"
"Fuck fuck fuck"
"Wait how the fuck did he get my number?"
Grace stopped her thoughts and decided to text Luke back.
To: Luke
You can come over tomorrow. We can talk then. Michael, Ashton and Calum will be there too. You need to apologize to Michael.
From: Luke
What time?
To Luke:
3pm, now goodnight
