It had been three days since she went here in Japan. A travelling agency sponsored her flight after their agency gained popularity. She's a social media influencer, and people loved her posts. And by the way, she's a photographer too, which makes her profile worth sharing. She held out her camera and took a picture of the sakura tree. Although it haven't blossomed yet she just wanted to take a picture of it. Then she proceed on taking a picture of the place, the people walking, the sky, rock, everything that catches her attention. When she felt tired, she went inside a restaurant and ordered food, and her favorite milk tea.
While waiting for her food, she opened her instagram account (and by the way, Japan has a awesome internet connection). Her notifs blowed up after she posted a picture of the sky from the plane. Which she always do whenever she'll travel. Her followers left comments, telling her they'll be waiting for her shots, which made her smile. Aside from the fact that photography is her passion, what keeps her going are the people who appreciate what she does.
Her order came shortly and she thanked the waitress in Japanese which made the waitress smiled. Nadine flatlay her food and stood up to take a good picture of it. After that she noticed a group of teenagers (not Japanese) staring at her. She smiled at them and they smiled back. Nadine sat and began eating her food while her cellphone keeps on blinking because of her friends. Feeling a little distracted, she turned off her internet and put her phone inside her bag and eat her food with gusto.
When she was done eating she wiped her mouth before leaning on her chair and stared outside the resto. Japan is really an awesome place. No wonder she loves going here. Everything is just so picturesque.
After a few minutes, Nadine stood up and gathered her things after paying for the bill. With her take out milk tea, she went outside only to stop for a moment when he saw a cute guy outside.
Is he Japanese?
No.
Oh, American perhaps?
She took her phone out and took a stolen shot of him but she wasn't satisfied with her shot. So she hurriedly sipped her milk tea until the last drop before throwing it to the nearest trash bin and approaching the cute guy.
"Hi"
The guy looked at her and smiled.
Dang it, even his smile is cute! She thought to herself.
"Hi" he greeted back.
"Uhm, I'm actually a photographer and uhm, if you don't mind, can I take photo of you?" she asked.
His brow raised. Nadine panicked on the inside.
"I mean yeah you probably won't believe me but I just really thought you could be a great subject since your outfit matches the -"
He cut her off with a chuckle and nodded.
"It's okay. So, what pose do I do?" he smiled.
"I'll only take a one shot so..." Nadine blinked before motioning him to be just himself. She took out her camera and took a step backward for a better angle. When he was comfortable with his pose, she clicked the capture button.
She viewed his photo and smiled.
He's really cute She said to herself.
She was in trance of his photo that she didn't noticed that he was already standing in front of him, also looking at his photo.
"Did it turned out fine?" he asked.
Nadine got startled and cleared her throat.
"Y-Yes! It did!"
He smiled at her again.
"I just hope you won't keep it to yourself"
Nadine blushed and shook her head. He chuckled and ruffled her hair.
"See you around" he said before walking out.
Nadine's lips parted. She felt her heart beating so fast.
"T-Thank you!" she shouted. He waved his hand without looking at her.
"Jusko, Nadine!" she exclaimed.
She hurriedly walked out from there and hailed a cab to the hotel she was staying in.
When she got to her unit, Nadine threw her shoes on the floor and jumped from the bed. She sighed as she felt relaxed. After a few minutes she looked beside her and saw her bag. She pouted before reaching her camera inside and opening it once again. She scanned the pictures she took until she stopped on he last picture.
He's really cute.
Wait did she already said that?
She's sure he's not a Filipino. Well it's not like she knows every Filipino in the world. And it's been over two years since she last went home.
Is he an actor? A model? Or just a tourist?
She sighed dreamily (dreamily?! where did that came from?! ) and got her laptop and transferred his photo on her phone. After that, she started tweaking his picture to make it more vibrant in the eye.
After editing, she opened her instagram and uploaded his photo.
The likes immediately blowed up! Even the comment section!
Now she's nervous.
He won't see her post right?
