The pawns look forward, little heads full of pride, they rage into the battle one step at a time. The bishops and rooks look forward to their turn, Look at the Knights, they wait for no one.
The king is helpless, he watches his city burn, The Queen stands tall, when will her people learn? She refuses to move, her head full of pride, "I will not help until they move aside"
They've been reminded, the Queen is your greatest weapon. But these masochistic minds, they're never ready to listen. ''Ten of her would not be able to win, her place is at the Palace, dolled up next to her king"
Well there goes the Knight, watch him while he falls. Shameful eyes, they look up at her. The queen understands, she knows the board is hers.
