You say you're scared about me leaving and I say I won't. You take me for granted. You let yourself go and you have the audacity to look confused when I say 'it's simple. there's two options, you pick one'
You didn't make a decision that day, you were drunk. Again. You looked me in the eye and said that you were scared I'd leave you and I did.
You probably knew we were doomed right from the start, maybe that's why you were scared in the first place, but what you did not know was that you'd never really be alone.
Because as fast as our relationship ended, my heart would turn you into poetry. You don't understand do you? You wouldn't.
There is no end to us. Inside these pages we still live, These words, when read, feel like home. You can trust me on this, You won't ever be alone.
