In the playground at the corner of the school was a green willow tree.

As the willow trees long branches hung, a secret cubby house was hidden from the surrounding playground of kids and teachers.

Within this hidden cubby house, a secret meeting was formed amongst the group.

Each of them sitting on little chairs, as they whispered and giggled at the round table.

This meeting was crucial and life changing discussion on their behalf.

A girl  with brown hair, her blue eyes fixated on everyone of her knights at the round table. Standing she lent over the table as her fists supported her weight, raising her voice she started.

Everyone of the girls fell silent as they sat intently listening to what was to be addressed by their leader.

"Did you know that when you are older, your blood literally gushes out?"

The kindy girls around her shrivelled their faces up and shrieked!

That girl there was me and yes a five year old yet to be six was stating the future of every girl and I was absolutely correct.

You see that girl (me) was amazing, true and honest. Within Kindergarten, these girls that she faced had been put together skilfully, each contributing something to the group.

Even though  I was 5, I had experienced enough in my short period of life and since I had no childish influences at home, I made sure I made friends with the right people. The girls that I surrounded myself with were loyal, strong-willed and all had something that made them unique, skilled and talented.

My home life was boring dull and grey, but my grandparents made up for that providing me with the little bit of childhood that I will always treasure. Being a single child was boring and I found that most of my time at home consisted of me exploring my imagination and drawing.

My parents were strict business people and when they came home, they were tipsy falling straight to bed. At that time of just the age of 5, I borrowed books from school all about cooking and with that I cooked myself dinner whilst both my parents were passed out on the couch.

So these girls that I had put together were my family.

But, Essie Rose my younger self, with the brown hair and blue eyes along with her knights at the roundtable,  would not know that it would be the last meeting they would have...
