Chapter 16~ A Fib Lip

Ravens POV◇

We went to this cafe called Gals coffee shop. We sat near a round table so every one could fit.

Sebastion and Joshua went to their own table just to give us privacy.

Emily-"So, who's going to start?"

Nana-"I will."

Nana-"I have already met Laura before. She's your older sister. She didn't want me to mention her to anyone. Meaning you."

Emily-"Why?"

Laura-"Because, I have a reputation. Plus I knew you were on the case with the Ice cream man and I would not help by coming into your life."

Nathan-"True, but what about my twin?"

John-"That I don't know.... Your father must of not told you."

Nathan-"Me?"

Raven-"No, me."

Nana-"Laura is a secret agent that works for Nathan. But I didn't know what Nathan looked like till now."

Emily-"Wait, so are you guys-"

Laura-"No. We are just close friends. I am married."

Raven-"Makes sense."

Emily-"Not for me we have doppelgangers."

Nana-"What I am here for is to here Jimmy Neutron's story."

Nathan-"What would you like to know?"

"Why your badge was in my friends house."

Nathan-"I am a nurse?"

John-"In private territory,  no."

Nathan-"Hey, I am not the bad guy here."

Emily-"Then explain."

Nathan-"I have been tracking this guy down for years. He's the reason.... He's the reason my mother is dead."

Raven-"But your mom is my mom."

Nathan-"She died in front of me."

He started to tear up.

Laura-"Hey it's ok." She said rubbing his back.

Raven-"My mom died when I was a baby."

John-"Turns out you've been lied to Raven."

Emily-"What if Jimmy Neutron didn't see his mom die. Maybe it was someone else?"

Nathan-"Could you not call me Jimmy Neutron anymore?"

I started to laugh.

John-"No, their mom is dead. I know it because I saw her in the coffin. I helped barry her."

Nana-"True."

"So, what if my mom did die in front of him. What about why my dad said she died when I was baby. I don't have any memory of her once so ever."

John-"Son, I think your father may have lied to you. Because your mother died around 4 years after she had you. But I don't recall seeing two of you."

Nathan-"So meaning I have a dad, that didn't die in a fire? So my mom did die but my dad didn't?"

John-"Correct."

Emily-"Turns out we've all been lied to." Emily said as she got up and left.

John's POV◇

I really do not remember her having twins. It didn't make sense. Maybe she had been covering up something. Then I remembered.

Diana was planning on getting a divorce. Maybe she didn't want Doug to have both of them. That made more sense. She could keep one and he could keep the other.

There was more to Diana's divorce. I just didn't know till now.

"Alright let's get you guys home."

Laura-"I have a ride thank you."

Nathan-"I do too."

Nana-"I don't have one so you're taking me home."

John-"Fine with me. Sebastion your mom is coming to pick you guys up."

Sebastion-"Ok, I think we can hang."

Nana's POV◇

I got into John's truck. He was already in waiting for me.

I put on my seatbelt and we took off.

John-"Did you know that Raven had a twin?"

"No, but I actually wasn't surprised."

John-"I was."

"I mean it isn't a bad thing. He is a handsome young man."

John-"Like me?" He said sarcastically.

I laughed.

John-"It should be addressed. Especially since Ravens dad lied to him. I always thought he was honest with his son."

"I would have been."

After 12 minutes we arrived at my house.

John-"Thank you Anna."

"For what? For helping you with something you didn't need help on?"

John-"Maybe?" He said a little confused.

It got quiet so here goes the stupid thing I did to break the silence.

I kissed him.

Not that I regret doing it but he had just lost Susan and I felt bad.

John-"Wait, I thought you hated me?" He said pausing our kiss.

"Does that matter? I mean I still do."

We both giggled and kissed.
