Dream (Genji x Reader)

5 feelings?

Genji stood still for a moment. He was worried but couldn't move, he wanted but couldn't.

Your hand supported your body from falling to the ground. There you were crying thinking about the people you couldn't save.

...

normally you could control them but it was becoming to much and you didn't sleep enough so tears were rolling down? You didn't make any sound just tears.

Your hands were holding you up while you looked down...

Genji didn't really know what to do... he went to you.

At that moment you realised someone was there, but you didn't know who. Out of reflex you take your sword and in not even an second you stand in front of him with your sword against his throat.

Then you saw it was Genji and you let your sword fall... you were light in your head. You were tired but couldn't sleep.

"I'm sorry" you said. You couldn't hear any sort of emotion in your voice, it was just cold. That was how you kept your emotions intact... or actually just kept them to you while you were slowly breaking.

He looked at you "(y/n) are you okay?" he asked you.

"Yes Genji" you took your sword from the ground and placed it on your back.

"You don't look good" he said he was worried

You looked in front of you but stood still thinking.

He came closer and laid his hand on your shoulder "Tell me" he said. There was a warmth in his voice.

You two were close but you didn't want him to get too close. You were scared that you would get too attached and that you would lose him like the rest... You felt something for him but you didn't know what.

You didn't answer for a long time Genji just waited in patiently.

"We all have a story Genji..." you said and walked towards to your room...

Genji wasn't really satisfied with that answer but he knew you wouldn't say anything else, he started to know you. You wouldn't let allot out so he tried to accept it, even if it was difficult.

You were in your room when you didn't feel good. You hated feeling like this.

You went to the bathroom... and saw in the mirror it wasn't something you did often. You looked at your scarred face and  your eye where you couldn't  see anything with anymore.

You went over the scars from your eye. You took the time to trace it, then you went to you other scares. You never really looked at them. They were the scares you got when your friends died, it reminded you of them. That's why you never looked at them.

You hate it and broke the mirror with your fist leaving wounds and broken glass on it... and laying on the ground.

You heard a knock on the door. "who is it?" you said actually more angry.

"It's me" you heard a more robotic voice it was Genji, of course.

"What is it?" you said angry again.

"I heard glass braking... I'm worried (Y/n)" he said.

"Its nothing. just let something fall..." you said but your voice said something else.

The door openend. Genji went to you.

"Your hand" he said

"it's nothing" you answered.

He took your hand trying to get the glass out of it. You just let him. It hurted you, something you didn't expect. You let out an "aw"

"You did it to yourself you know" he said. "I know... just shut up" you said. 

He cleaned your hand and wanted to bandage it but you stopped him "No need for that... it isn't bleeding anymore..." you never really bandaged it...

"I don't care what you say and that you are my mentor but I'm gone bandage it. It can get infected you know" he said

You just let him, but gave him an annoyed gaze. "Don't be so worried, please I'm okay"

"(Y/n) you are not, and I keep worrying so don't get yourself hurt all the time" he said while bandaging the wound.

You looked in his eyes and saw he really cared about you. You started blushing and looked down.

"I'll stay with you so I know you won't do anything stupid anymore" he said. He didn't even think about what he said. Under his mask he was blushing and it was one of the few times he was happy he had his mask.

You would actually  like that and thought why am I thinking like this... you didn't say a thing.

"Alright so get to your bed i'll sleep on the couch" he said

You went to your bed and he to the couch. you laid down. He looked at you.

"If your keeping staring then come and lay here..." you said and started blushing again. You started to like him.

"You sure?" he asked

"Come now before I change my mind" you said. Not looking at him to hide your blush

He started getting feelings for you for a week or so now but he didn't let you see. He was scared because why would somebody ever like someone like him. Half machine, half human.

He went to you and  laid next to you.

It was  a little awkward at first but you laid yourself against him. It felt save and you fell asleep.

He laid an arm around you and fell asleep to.
