Dream (Genji x Reader)

After a moment a nurse came in and checked on you. "she needs rest" she said but didn't let Genji leave. She was scared of him. "take your rest okay" she said before leaving.

Genji stayed with you the whole time. You fell asleep with him next to your bed. You didn't mind because you felt safe even if he looked dangerous.

You were laying in the gras you had no worries. Nothing you looked up in the sky. Birts flying high, the Sun shining bright, a little breeze went over your face. Then you looked at your right and saw a guy. He was looking at the sky. "it's so peacefull isn't it" he said and then looked at you. You answerd with "yes, it is. It certainly is, Genji, it certainly is."

Then it got dark, red blood every were. You saw the shimada house, and heard a scream. A loud painfull scream. You ran inside the building it was dark and not easy to see. Then when you walked in the recognizable but also fully blooded training room you saw someone lay there in pain and mutulated. He had a sword in his chest just missing his heart.

You ran to the boy. you couldn't believe your eyes. "genji!" you yelled and fell on your knees next to him. He opened his eyes slowly. He coughed and then just looked at you with his sweet Brown eyes but he was so scared he wasn't ready to die. He just wasn't ready to leave this earth. Too young to die. "i-its me y/n" you looked at his body. You knew he couldnt survive. But you saw in his eyes that he wanted to fight. "y-y/n" he barly managed to say your name.

You took him in your arms gently so you wouldn't hurt him. "i-im so sorry." "d-don't worry i-it's just a scratch" he stuttered then he put a smile on his face to comfort you. "i-it's nice to see you again" it took him a while before he responded "yes same here, i missed you." he said while trying is hardest to keep his eyes open.

Time was't really working with you. he closed his eyes longer and grunted in pain. it was time. "just take your rest now you need it." you said soft while going over his thick soft black raven hair and smiled. He laid his bloody hand on your cheek "I-I love you." he coughed out. you looked in his eyes again. "i love you too, genji so much" then directly after his hand fell down his eyes closed. You were speechless and we're quiet for a second. Then tears start to build up in your eyes and rollend slowly down your cheeks.

You woke up breathing heavly everything hurted. You had tears in your eyes and you were shaking. You pulled your knees to your chest and started to sob softly. Remembering that was always painfull.

The boy next to you had woken up and he laid his hand on your sholder. You looked next to you. Saw him sit there. you looked at him and got scared who was he, who?

"Who are you?" you asked him scared. "don't worry I'm not going to hurt you. you've got my word" he said soft even if there was a tint of robotic it sounded so soothing. then yo looked in his eyes. the same eyes as his. They were red but the expression was as old as the first sunset. Scared, angry but so sweet when he looked at you.

"who are you?" you asked again. it couldn't be genji he was dead. He looked at you. "it's me". "what do you mean?" you were confused. "after i sort of died they could revive me but i ended up like this" you were still confused. "it's me Genji"... you looked shocked. That couldnt be..

"he died, in my arms, you can't be him" He put of his mask. You looked at his scarred face. But you reconized him. "how?" "they revived me as i said."

After a long silence. You moved your hand closer to his face and he brought his face closer to your hand. You touched it and layed it on his cheek. With your tumb you went over a scar on it.

"im sorry" you said really soft.

he hugged you tight. you just stayed in your ball of sadness. and started to cry a bit. he just kept holding you and comforting you. "it will all be okay" "it will all be okay again" he kissed your head and kept holding you tight.

you sat there for over an hour. it was dark, night. everything was just quiet there were no nurses, no patients roaming the halls at this hour. it was peaceful. you looked at the moon that was shining trought the window. It started to rain you heard the rain falling on the floor outside. it was calming. really calming. you closed your eyes and fell asleep in Genji's arms. it felt just right. it felt like everything would be okay again. That all the shit in the world just disapeard for a moment.

i am so sorry that it took this long. please don't kill me that it took this long to write.
i had it really difficult for the last few months with depression and stress and mental health in general. its been really difficult. I'm really sorry. i just hope this is a good chapter and more will come in the future i just don't know how long it will take

and i fell like i messed up alot in the story. i want to start again with a new one but i don't know i just don't have the energy for it i guess. do you guys want me to continue or just start over? i don't know what i am going to do. but i can try and fix this story a bit with going further and suprise you all with a fantastic plot if i have the inspration and all. if you guys have any idea's please let me know. and have a nice day you all
