"I did go out, to get myself a cup of coffee and relax a bit. You know, after the school's over." He said, stammering over the last few words. He couldn't think but definitely had enough guts to half lie and half-truth over his statement. He erased the whole meeting up girl part, as he felt the need to tell his parents the whole naked truth. 

Sweating immensely as his ears burning red he added the fuel to the fire. "Mom, you believe me, right? I am saying the truth. And I'm sorry that I totally forgot that you were gonna visit me today." He ended with light chuckles, brushing his burning nape.

On the other hand, his parents were a bit suspicious of his peculiar behaviour was exhibiting at the moment, noticing his fidgetiness his fingers as he refused to make eye contact with them. They were, on, one hand, worried for their son's well being- as in getting influenced by people who have bad habits.
