One Saiyan's Journey

Chapter 1-Awakened

Beep, beep, beep. I slowly woke up to the noise. Beep, beep, beep. Ugh, my head is killing me and I can still feel tear streaks down my face. Beep, beep, beep. I slowly open my eyes to see out the window and I had landed, more than likely on Earth, and it was dark outside even through the tinted window. I pushed the button that was making the beeping sounds that alerted me to landing. I gathered my things and the bag my mom gave me. Mom and Dad...they must have held back Frieza's army long enough to provide me an escape.... I balled my fists so tight I drew blood. I threw my things in the bag and slammed the door open on my pod. Strange how there's no one within my range of sensing, or they are good at hiding their ki. One of the two.

After I climbed out of the crater my pod had made from landing, I was hiding my ki as I did, so as not to attract anyone's attention, I crumpled to the ground and just started crying. Why did my mom and dad have to sacrifice themselves to get me an escape? Why couldn't I help? So many emotions at once; pain, sadness, anger, confusion, all of which evolved into an overwhelming rage. I couldn't stand it any longer and had to let it out, not caring at all who senses or finds me. I got up and used my emotions to let out my power, but to my surprise it grew tremendously, almost like a huge power boost. I have so much energy running through me, it's like I could explode. I screamed as loud as I could, but when I was done yelling, I had noticed a small crater grew around me as I let out my anger, and my aura had flared out to match it. To my surprise my aura was yellow in color, and my tail and hair? This is weird, but I bet it's the reason for my power surge. The energy running through me is burning like fire! It's making me so tired, I just can't keep it up... I feel so sleepy... I shut my eyes and let out one more tear before I promptly pass out.

"Hey guys, do you feel that powerful energy? Do you think that might be Cell?" Goku asked slightly concerned. "I doubt it's Cell. I don't think he would want to expose his position just yet." Piccolo said in his usual tone. "Besides that it also bears resemblance to yours and Vegeta's ki, and it's not mixed with anything else, wouldn't you agree?" Piccolo asked. "So I'm not the only one who felt that? That's a relief." Goku spoke as he smiled a bit. "Maybe we should go check it out?" Goku suggested. "Perhaps, but you should probably grab a few others if you do." Piccolo warned. "Hehe, noted. I'll grab Vegeta if you want to come along." Goku offered. "Might as well, no doubt the others have sensed it by now."

Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo all left Kame House to look for the unknown energy when it suddenly stopped when they got close. "That's weird, it just stopped but I get the feeling the source is still near." Goku said surprised. Vegeta huffed. "Whatever it was probably sensed us coming towards it and stopped." Vegeta said sternly. "But I'm like 90% sure it's still nearby, Vegeta." Goku said cautiously. "Both of you shut up, and look over there." Piccolo gestured. The three saw two craters but upon getting closer saw a space pod and a young girl passed out. They landed close by, only to see that the pod was indeed opened and the girl was clutching a sack of some kind. "It's just a girl Vegeta, do you think she could have been the source?" Goku said suddenly concerned for the sleeping young girl. "Well seeing as how that pod is the same model as the one I arrived in, it's very likely she came out of it, Kakarot." Vegeta scoffed. "But why is she here?" Piccolo asked. "We could always take her back to Kame House and wait for her to wake up. She looks like she's been through a lot." Goku said still staring at the young girl. "I don't think she's here to do any harm guys, I mean look at her; she looks kind of beat up, and I'm sure she'll probably tell us why she's here anyway when she wakes up." Goku said matter-of-factly. "Good idea Kakarot, she'll just tell us everything about her self when she wakes up." Vegeta said with a sharp tone of sarcasm. "I think Goku is right, Vegeta. She's in too bad of a condition to do anyone harm." Piccolo said. "Then it's settled." Goku said picking her up as gently as possible, also grabbing her bag in the process. Vegeta and Piccolo's faces both changed into shock. "What did I break her or something? Is she hurt pretty bad?" Goku said panicking a little. "No Kakarot, look she has a tail." Vegeta pointed as her tail fell limp, dangling. "I thought you said all the female saiyans died on Planet Vegeta?" Piccolo said still a bit surprised. "I had assumed so, this girl's parents must have escaped or been on another planet when it happened. She's far too young to have been alive when that happened." Vegeta said in a normal tone. "So, like, now we have to got find out who she is." Goku said curiously. "Let's go and make sure Chi-Chi and Bulma are there by the time we are. We don't want anyone scaring her when she wakes up." He said flatly. "Alright, lets go." They flew off back towards Kame House, Goku gently carrying the young girl.
