As the days went by, Will got drastically worse. Every night he would scream out, crying for Corinna to come into his room and help him fall asleep. Corinna gladly obliged, but was beginning to feel the effects of barely sleeping at night, getting 3 hours of sleep at most. She would fall asleep in class, not talk to her friends, and started failing her AP classes. On Tuesday afternoon Billy came up to her.
"hey Corinna, I was wondering if I did something wrong. How come you aren't talking to me? Did I say something? because if I did i'm sorry."
"no Billy, it's not you. It's just that Will has been having these crazy nightmares and he doesn't want me to tell mom because he's scared of going to the doctor. He barely sleeps and neither do I."
"that's really terrible. I wish there was something I could do to help." - billy
"Actually, theres one thing you can do" said Corinna with a smirk. She grabbed his face and brought him closer and closer until their lips met. Corinna pulled back with a smile.
"I gotta go home, but ill see you tomorrow"
When Corinna got home she walked into Will's room and saw him drawing furiously.
"Will, what's wrong?" said Corinna
"These dreams, they're consuming my thoughts. They're becoming my everything. Now at school i start to have nightmares. The one thing they all have in common is this." said Will pointing at his drawing. It was a scramble of black crayon. It looked somewhat like a monster with multiple legs.
"will, this looks really bad. I think we have to tell mom" said Corinna with a worried look
"No! Corinna please I don't want to keep getting tested and plus I don't want to worry mom. Please Corinna don't tell mom!" said Will, pleadingly.
"will, i'm really worried about you. You're barely getting any sleep and this doesn't seem healthy"
"no pleaseeee!" begged will. right when Will went to ask again, he threw up.a slug.
"OH MY GOD!" yelled Corinna
