Need - Billy Hargrove

Brother Troubles

       Billy and Corinna both had a great time at the diner. They both laughed until their stomach hurt. 

"This is the best time I've had in a while" said Billy, smiling at Corinna.

"Same here. All the shit that happened last year really messed me and my family up. I wan't to tell you the whole story, but it's extremely long and I'd probably need some alcohol." said Corinna

"Now I'll be thinking about that all week" said Billy

"You're just going to have to wait. Billy, It's getting late I need to go home or if not my mom will freak." 

"Alright, alright. I'll take you home" 

Corinna got in Billy's car and he pulled up to her driveway. Billy kissed her goodbye and she walked into the front door

At home, Corinna's mom, Joyce, said

"Who was that?"

Oh shit. I forgot to tell my mom about Billy. Corinna thought

"Um, mom that was my boyfriend, Billy."

"He's a pretty nice dude!" yelled Will from his room, as he had been eavesdropping. 

"Well, you should invite him to dinner on Saturday" said Joyce eager to meet her daughter's boyfriend. 

"Sure" said Corinna, worried about what her mom would think about Billy. 

..Friday Afterschool... 

Corinna walked up to Billy after school. 

"Hey, my mom wants to meet you. Do you want to come over for dinner tomorrow?" 

"Sure, I'd love to"said Billy, pretending to be preppy. 

"Oh, shut up! oh and by the way please behave yourself with my mom." said Corinna, pleading with him. 

"Anything for you my love" said Billy, still mocking preppy kids. Billy leaned in and kissed Corinna while she laughed. 

Billy dropped off Max at the arcade and then took Corinna to her house. 

"Please make an effort to look good tomorrow." 

"What? All this isn't good enough for you?" said Billy gesturing to his body. 

"Oh my God, Billy Hargrove, you're the absolute worst." said Corinna smiling. They kissed goodbye and Corinna walked inside.

"Hey mom, my boyfriend Billy is coming over tomorrow night for dinner."  

"Ok, no problem honey."

As Corinna was about to walk in to her room, she saw Jonathan's door open. Corinna held a lot of guilt for not talking to Jonathan often. They were polar opposites and she felt out of place talking to him. She decided to go over and see him. 

"Hey Jonathan, how's it going?"

"Fine" mumbled Jonathan "I heard you have another boyfriend"

"He's not just any boyfriend, Jonathan. HE told me he loved me and I love him too" 

"I've seen him around. He looks like a no-good loser" 

"Jonathan! He has changed since the first day of school. Why don't you keep your fucking negative opinions to yourself, huh?" said Corinna extremely frustrated that the ONE time she tries to be nice to Jonathan he ruins it. "Why do you make it so hard for me to be nice to you?" said Corinna

"Because you're popular, preppy, spoiled, have a ton of friends, have a perfect life, go to parties, e.t.c. Need I say more?"

"Oh, I see. Just because I have a social life I can't have a good relationship with my brother? fuck off Jonathan."  

Corinna slammed the door behind her, her eyes filling with tears.She walked into her favorite brother's room. 

"Hey Will, I suppose you heard my argument."

"Yeah, sounded pretty bad"

"Yeah it was. By the way i'm sorry I wasn't there for you when you came back from the Upside Down. I was freaked out and didn't know how to approach you" 

"It's ok don't worry. I hope you and Jonathan will be ok."

"same here. Goodnight, Will. I love you"

"Love you too"
