On Monday morning, Corinna walked into school pissed. She could not believe what had happened on Saturday night. She kept pondering if her decision was right. Should she have had sex with him? Was she being too prudish? no she thought... no sex until she gets to know him.
She was ranting to Nancy on the way to lunch when suddenly, Billy's bold, blue eyes were staring into her soul.
"Hey, I was hoping we could talk." Giving a wide eye to Nancy, Corinna said with an attitude "Sure, but make it quick I gotta go."
"I'm sorry about what happened the other night. I mean it. I crossed a line I shouldn't have." said Billy, looking quite apologetic. Corinna stood there, a million thoughts going through her brain. She couldn't believe that Billy, the it-boy, was apologizing to her.
"It's fine, don't worry about. We were both pretty wasted."
Leaning against the locker, Billy said "I'm glad. I didn't want to waste a change with a pretty girl like you. I'll meet you at Pop's at 8?" Corinna internally screamed. Billy was asking her on a date!?
"I'll see you there" said Corinna keeping her cool and walking away.
"Holy shit Nance, Billy just asked me out. I'm seeing him at Pop's at 8 today!" said Corinna practically squealing with joy.
"Are you sure you wanna go? I've heard he's a pretty big ass." said Nancy plainly
"ummm. Of course I want to go"
.......Later that night.....
Corinna spent awhile getting ready and walked to Pop's. She only had to walk about a couple of minutes. As she approached the diner she saw Billy's car and immediately got butterflies in her stomach. She strided into the diner confidently, trying to play off the fact that she was extremely excited. She walked in and immediately Billy stood up from the booth and walked up to her. He gave her a welcoming hug and they both sat down. They talked for an hour and a half about every possible subject. Corinna extremely enjoyed talking with Billy. She learned a little more about his past and why he moved. He also talked about Max and how they don't get along well. When Corinna realized that it was her curfew, she told Billy she had to go home. He offered her a ride and she gladly accepted. When they went outside, Billy lit up a cigarette.
"You want?"
"Sure, pass me one."
Corinna took a long hit of his cigarette, aesthetically blowing it out through her mouth. She watched the way Billy smoked. The way the cigarette rested in his lips, the way he blew the smoke, everything was just so perfect, a little too perfect perhaps. She got in his car and he drove to her house. Before she got out, Billy leaned in and kissed her. It was a passionate kiss, full of lust. When the kiss came to an end, Billy said goodnight and gave her a wink. She got out and he drove off.
