Ryan’s POV:
Jacky still hasn’t come home and it’s already midnight. He said he was with Ronnie, but I still grew worried when he didn’t show up, even for dinner. I’d never thought of asking for his number, I wish I could call him to make sure he’s okay. Just as I was about to go searching for him, the door opens. “JACKY, WHAT THE HELL?” I shout, making him jump. “WHY DIDN’T YOU CALL OR SOMETHING TO LET ME KNOW YOU’D BE OUT LATE?”

He was shaking slightly, and it made me feel so bad for scaring him. “Ryan, don’t yell.” He replied in a hushed, terrified tone. Taking note of this, I walk up to him and pull him into a tight hug.

“I’m sorry, baby. I was just so worried.” I say, trying to calm him. “I thought something happened. Something bad.”

“It did...” He said, pulling away from our embrace. I looked down at my beautiful angel, the worst possible thoughts running through my mind.

“Jacky, what are you talking about? Did someone hurt you?” He just shook his head in a silent ‘no’. “Then, what--”

“I can’t tell you, Ryan.” He looked up at me with sadness in his eyes. Did someone… No, no that’s not possible. Jacky could’ve fought them of if they did try to touch him. Couldn’t he?

“What? Of course you can. You can tell me anything, my love.”

“No, Ryan. You don’t understand.” I just stood there, unsure of what to do now. Nothing better have happened to him, or so fucking help me, someone else is gonna die. “I promised a friend I would keep his secret and--”

“Jacky, when you were with Ronnie, did he--”

“Ronnie didn’t do anything wrong, Ryan. It was me. I walked in on him and Craig--” He covered his mouth fast as if to attempt to conceal something, wide blue eyes staring at me as though he thought I wanted to hurt him.

“What were they doing?” Jacky didn’t say anything, just stood there, his eyes still wide open, his hands still covered his mouth. “Jacky. Whatever it is… You can tell me.”

“I can’t.” He removed his hands from his mouth as he started to cry. I walked closer to hug him once more, but only moments before we heard someone knock on the door. Looking out, I saw Thrasher and soon opened the door.

“Hey, so what’s going on?” He asked, looking from me to Jacky. I moved aside to let him in and closed the door when he was far enough away from it.

“I can’t tell.” Jacky replied, quietly. Thrasher looked to me and I simply shrugged.

“Why did Craig call Ryan a demon earlier? Can I at least know that?” I sighed and looked down at the floor for a second, then back up to Thrasher.

“Because I am a demon.” He looked shocked. “Well, I was. I was born one, but when I met Jacky, I wanted to start becoming more good than evil.”

“Dude, really?” Thrasher asked, stunned.

“When I first met him, I was supposed to return his soul to Hell. Looking back on it, I don’t see how I ever could have wanted to do such a thing.” I turned to face Jacky, his cheeks had a light blush forming across them. I take notice, and pull him close to me. “I love you, baby.” A kiss on his rapidly reddening face, along with a new smile.

Thrash made a sound to display disgust, a mix between an ‘ugh’ and ‘ew’. “Enough with that, tell me what happened between Jack and Ronnie, because I asked Craig and he isn’t talking.”

I whispered to Jacky, asking if he was okay with telling us. He whispered back his confirmation, sniffled, and tried to strengthen up. “Ronnie said not to say anything, so please don’t talk to him about it.” Thrash and I nodded hesitantly, looking at each other with worry in our faces. “I was going to his house because I felt sad, and when I got there, he and Craig were kissing…” Jacky looked to the floor so not as to look at us, and raised the collar of his shirt to his lips, were he bit it to try and distract from his anxiety.
