This has never happened to me before, but I see it all the time in other stories...
When people advertise their books in the comments sections of others books. It doesn't bother me when they do it nicely.
Random example:
"I love your style of writing and how descriptive you are. I would greatly appreciate if you would read my book, insert book title here, and review it."
It really gets to me when people are just strait up rude about it.
Random example:
"Come to my profile and read my new book, insert book title here! I am trying to get more votes & reads.
That example they had a reason. An excuse doesn't make it okay, but it's at least a little better than this.
Random example:
"Everyone stop your reading and come to my profile to read my book, insert book title here."
If you want more reads, votes, and comments on your story, then you just have to be patient. If you have been waiting for a long time, and it still isn't getting as many reads a you wanted check if you follow these criteria:
1.) Do you have an attractive book cover?
2.) Do you have an appealing description? (Read my last chapter for help.)
3.) Does your title make sense with your book cover & description?
Those are the three most important things you need before getting lots of reads, votes, comments, etc.
Thanks for reading! Please vote and comment. (if you want to.) I love you all!
