Alec Flame
I opened my locker and sighed. Two weeks of school and I was already losing my mind! I promised my mum I would try to stay out of trouble, but whenever I pass a bland wall or a club, I get a yearning feeling in my chest. I hated trying to be a 'role model student'.
"Alec Flame, Taro Yamada, Ayano Aishi, Kryran Lowing, and Evan Hinrode, please report to the main office,"
I sighed as the intercom made a sputtering sound and went quiet. That was the vice principle, Mr. Draconite (anyone remember Mr. Draco? No? Hmmph). I heaved my books back into my locker and trudged to the headmaster's office. Or, mum's office.
Let me give you a quick description of each kid.
Taro Yamada, he's a good dude. A little too good. He's pledged himself to all thats right and tattles about everything. Every. Single. Freaking. Thing. Taro also has about a million girls chasing him around. I'm not sure if he likes the attention, but he's cool about it. Tells all the girls he already likes someone. Though the recent deaths of his few girlfriends has eroded his confidence. He's got some weird gravity powers.
Ayano Aishi. It was until last year I would say, "Who the frigg is that?". Now, I know. It has to do with money. Sometimes I'll do her favors and she gives me money. Even though my mum is a headmaster, we're still tight on money. Though the favors are questionable things, they're not dangerous. She's mainly quiet and weird, never drawing attention to herself. I'm pretty sure her powers have to do with shadows or something.
Kyran Lowing, the classic nerd and bullied guy. Can't say I haven't done somethings to him. He's pretty shy and stutters a lot, always has his face in a book. I'll never forget the feeling of smashing that book in his face. Kyran has some pretty wicked ice powers, but he only uses them for 'good' use. Good use my ass.
Evan Hinrode is a rich hottie. He doesn't got as many girls as Taro, but he's got a lot. He's a rule breaker, but not on my level. We've interacted once or twice, but we definitely didn't hit it off. His powers is this teleportation thingy.
And last, but not least, Alec Flame. Me. The bad boy, the crazy guy, the kid who got suspended more times than I can count and the reason two of my principles quit, yeah that's me. And as I keep my gray hoodie and spiky red hair over my face, I pushed the office door open.
Now some info on my mum. After dad left we were living in a three roomed house with cracking walls. Then she got this 'amazing' idea of a magics school. A school where the 45% of the world with powers could attend. And the whole freaking world agreed! So now I'm here, standing in a room with a person I loathe, tease, don't care about, and won't give a second glance. Whipee.
My mum sits at her desk, hands folded. She acknowledges me with a brisk nod then turns to everyone else. I awkwardly shuffle into a line they already formed.
"I called you here because you have good grades-" she starts. Huh? Me? Good grades? Since when were those in the same sentence? "-or could have better ones," my mum finishes. Oh, makes sense.
"We have five new students. You have been called here though, to welcome them. You either need the practice or are already great at this," she said, "the students should arrive in your second period. They will have schedules that mostly match yours. You will be assigned a specific student, but you should help all of them. Am I clear?"
Everyone in the room nodded like bobble heads. My mother nodded and practically pushed us out of the room. No special treatment for relatives.
Coincidentally our second periods are all the same, so we walked to PE in awkward silence. We heard a beep and everyone checked their digital schedules. On mine it now said in curvy handwriting Funneh. What a stupid name.
The next few things I'm going to say are crazy, but here I go. When I stepped in to the Gym, I was greeted with a girl's face. She had wavy blue hair that looked pretty long and sparkling eyes. She gave me a dazzling smile and I almost died right there. I could feel heat in my cheeks and looked away.
When I looked at Kyran he was practically drooling over a girl way out of his league. She had brown locks and gold colored eyes.
"Hello! I'm Funneh, are you Alec Flame by any chance? Hello?". The girl was speaking to me and I felt absolutely great. Her voice was smooth and I could listen to it all day. Damn, I sound so sappy.
"Y-yes I am Alec Flame. Nice to meet you I'm Alec and, uh," I stuttered, my face most likely a tomato. I have never gotten this nervous around a girl. She giggled and began speaking, but I couldn't hear her. I was too wrapped up in her looks.
"-appy. Alec? Um, Alec? Earth to Alec!" she cried. She said my name again! I felt like a kid at Disney Land, so excited. "Y-yeah? Sorry what were you saying?" I quickly exclaimed. She giggled again.
"I said shouldn't we join everyone else? The teacher doesn't look happy!"
I looked around and she was right. Everyone else had already begun running laps. "Oh, right. All you gotta do is run a lap and sit on the bleachers," I explained. Funneh thanked me before joining the running students. I stood there dumbfounded until I found an explanation.
Crap, I'm in love aren't I?
A/N- Hello awesome readers! We hit 50+ reads! OMG! You guys are the best! Just a little note, in this story it will usually be Funneh or Alec's P.O.V. but you will occasionally hear from others! For the first few chapters I'm going to try and do everyone's P.O.V. and then it will be Funneh and Alec. Farewell my amazing readers! Until next time!
Also, edited out the Taro Likes Rainbow part for... *grins* reasons...
