Two years ago Jaey Rikardson wrote a widely popular book "The Book of Species Facts and Opinions" . The book was a best-seller, but had many publishing problems.
Being a demon, many publishing companies refused to publish his book, since they were run by demons. Rikardson finally published his book himself, but stores refused to sell it. He opened a small cart where you could buy it, along with drinks at a beach.
A curious human-demon hybrid bought the book, wishing to learn more about his two parents. The book astonished him with it's slight humor, truth, facts, and more. He gave it a great review online and more curious travelers bought it.
It soon became so popular to the point where people would flock from Hell City and Heavan's Gate, simply to read it. Rikardson's book was finally sold in many stores and he had many publishing offers.
The book also began to serve as a text book for schools so demons and angels could learn more about themselves and others.
Here we have an excerpt about humans, angels, demons, and formers.
The Amazing Truth about Human, Hybrid, Angel, Formers, and Demon Connections
Humans, also known as low-lifes, were the beginning. When humans were born, they simply worked, ate, and reproduced, devoid of thought or emotions. The first ruler of Heaven's Gate, Hoor Isalec, was different. When Hoor was born, he laughed and smiled, reaching for his breeder. That sparked one of the first human emotions, surprise.
Raised by humans, it was obvious Hoor was different. He was stronger, happier and plain brighter. Humans began to mirror his emotions slowly, like happiness and kindness. They began to respect him, as he was also intelligent and strategic.
Then, Hoor began feeling dark.
He had strong impulses to hurt, to kill, to steal. This part of him was called Ingiro. When Ingiro took control of Hoor's body, humans knew to obey him. Hoor was desperate to be free of Ingiro, for like before, humans began to mirror his emotions and actions.
They would steal, they would kill, they would hurt. Ingiro wanted to be free of Hoor too, for he could only control him for as long as a day at a time.
They made a deal to split Hoor's body, but Ingiro would have to leave, bringing as many humans as he wished. But Ingiro shared Hoor's smarts, and attempted to take over Hoor's body completely. This resulted in them both losing the body, their souls cursing and blessing half of the land.
The two kindest and evilest humans were chosen to be Hoor and Ingiro's successors, and both humans created two species, angels and demons.
Humans were left alone, as long as they caused no problems, but one day, something remarkable happened.
A disobeying human shot a burst of air at Ingiro's third successor. The human girl was taken to be observed, and they found she had a strange spark of power in her body, allowing her to use magic. These special humans are called formers.
Formers were executed immediately, but it was becoming apparent the race would not die down. In fact, the more they killed, the more formers seemed to be born. Formers were allowed to live, finally, as long as they didn't cause trouble.
Then came hybrids. A demon breeded with a human woman, enhanced by this particular woman's beauty. They had a child that was part demon part human. Astonished, they hid the child, sure it would be killed.
One day, the woman was caught with her husband. She was attacked, but their fully grown son appeared and fended off the angels. He was faster, stronger, but more importantly, he had a former's power.
His mother was a former, though she had a weak power of singing humans to sleep, but he had gained a very strong power of commanding people with his voice. The angels barely resisted the urge to obey him.
Not much in known what happened next, but a new species of hybrid came soon after.
Angel demon hybrids.
They are only three cases of them recorded, and those three died fairly young. Of course, there is are also five demon-angel hybrid siblings, but

Demons and angels seemed to develop powers over the years as well. An demon had either weapon summoning, fire, curses, or rarely, all three of them. An angel had either weapon summoning, light, curses, or, again, rarely all three of them.
Former powers was soon categorized into a few forms.
A witch power meant the former usually dealt with potions, curses, and mutations (meaning sharpened nails, hardened skin, etc...).
Sorceress or sorcerers ( @KawaiiGracia this would be Adam and Momo). Formers in this category usually need a objects to channel their power, like a wand, or a pendant. They can use almost any magic, but it is severely draining.
Controllers can control people or elements. Controllers are fairly common, though it can be hard to master their power. And usually, a controller can not completely control a element or person. Take water for example. It is almost impossible to keep every drop of water in place, so usually a controller with this ability would simply fire a jet of water.
All in all, every species in connected in some way, all starting with humans.

A/N- Heyo! Sorry for the short chapter, I've been really busy with violin, swimming, and summer homework. (Basically excuses). This chapter was written to clear up any misunderstandings about OCs. Also, some OCs have multiple powers, so I have a request. If you want your OC in the story, please change them so they fit whatever race they are. I've decided the first five OCs will get a guaranteed spot in the story. And, 1.6K?! I hit myself to see if I was dreaming, no joke. It hurt... a lot. Another thing about OCs, if your OC is related to the Krew, they have to be a Former. It may be confusing, but it will make sense in a few chapters... (I hope at least). See ya guys, and stay awesome!
(Wow that was a long author's note.)
