Minah is sitting on a stool in her studio, resting the computer on a stack of music books and sheet music. She makes a last ditch attempt to fix her hair as she signs on and grins at the camera. "Hi everyone, I'm Pae Minah, but you can call me Pheonix too. Do you have any questions for me?" I love your hair! Jun said u wrote most of the songs could u explain the concept of the album?
"Well basically it's no pain, no gain, or Pain is worth it in the end, work hard etc . . . Even though I composed the songs and made most of the lyrics, it's really a reflection of everyone here at S.A.F.E. I thought it might be a bit heavy for our first album, but hey! The songs are catchy. Did that answer your question?" She checks the screen "I guess so! Next?" Who is your favorite artist?
"Well, my ultimate bias is V from BTS, but one my favorite soloist's is actually American, have any of you heard of Shawn Mendes? . . . LOL I guess you all are as big fans as I am!" Favorite vacation spot?
"Uh, does home count? I mean Busan is like, what 327 km away from Seoul . . . ? Whoops I'm letting my lazy side show! I just really love being home I guess, my parents are great, and I like to stick to the things that I know." Are you the leader of Almond?
"The leader? No way! I might compose the songs, but I'm still the maknae of the group. If I had to choose someone though I would probably say . . . Soon Jae- unnie or Junsu- oppa." You are still in school Minah unnie, what is your least favorite part about it?
"Oh, presentations definitely, those are the worst! But school wasn't as bad as all the extra language and math courses my parents made me take!" How many languages can you speak? "Well, I am fluent in EnglishHello to my American Fans! and Mandarin 你好, and I kinda, sorta taught myself Arabic . . . مرحباانا اسف جدا, I think I'll be signing off now, keep working on those fandom names!
