After that night Jaemin found himself going back and forth between telling Jeno and not telling Jeno.

After that night Jeno couldn't pinpoint why Jaemin had been running through his mind. No matter what he did Jaemin constantly pooped up. He didn't know why. Jaemin was just another good friend. So why? Was the big question. Renjun was arriving anytime now to the café and here Jeno was thinking of someone who was not his boyfriend. Just like magic as he thought of Renjun he walked right trhough the door. Jeno gave his signature eye smile but Renjun returned it with a sad smile. Jeno's brows scrunched in confusion. Renjun sat down and took a deep sigh. "Hey, what's wrong?" Jeno asked. Renjun couldn't meet his eyes. "Um... Jeno we have to break up." Renjun softly said. Jeno froze. "I think you know why." Renjun looked up and finally saw Jeno eyes. Jeno sadly smiled. "Of course. You've meet your soulmate.... So who are they?" Jeno asked with a smile. Renjun smiled. "You know that cute girl that works at the book store." Jeno nodded. "Ahh, I swear I told you I saw you oogling her." Jeno teased. Renjun chuckled "No. I promise I wasn't. It's just we met again the day after we all hung out at your house." Renjun confessed. "She bumped into me and then bam! It showed up." Renjun exclaimed. Jeno smiled. "The string of fate." Jeno quietly said. "I can't believe I have so many friends that could see the string of fate, yet they haven't told me where mine led." Jeno said bitterly. At the mention of Jeno's soulmate Renjun tensed up, but it went unnoticed by Jeno. Renjun eased again "You know. You soulmate is closer than you think." Renjun stated then got up. But beforr Jeno could question any further Renjun was already leaving.

And so he sat there watching as his drink got cold deeply in thought. That was until his mind ran back Jaemin. God why do I keep thinking of you? He asked himself. And again like magic Jaemin walked in along with a laughing Chenle and Jisung. They all spotted Jeno and decided to take a seat beside him. "Hey guys." Jeno faintly smiled up at them. They all took their seat and took their turns to greet him. "Guys, is it true.....that my soulmate.....is....closer than I thought they were?" He asked. All three of the boys froze. "Why you asking?" Jisung asked. Jeno looked not at Jisung who asked the question but directly to Jaemin. "Because Renjun can see the string of fate, and he says my soulmate was closer than I thought. After he broke up with me of course." Jeno said. Pain evident in his voice. "If you guys know just please tell me. Please so I could get over it." Jeno was getting desperate. He had just been through a breakup with Renjun and didn't think he'd be able to handle finding that he knew his soulmate the whole time. Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung sat there in silence. So Renjun knew this whole time. He knew that Jaemin and Jeno were soulmates, but didn't say anything. "I'm sorry, Jeno, but we can't tell you. Not when your like this." Chenle said. And with that he abruptly stood up and walked out. Jisung quickly followed after. Then Jaemin got up. Before Jaemin was able to leave Jeno grabbed his wrist. "Please... You won't abandon me to right Jaemin?" he said in such a sad tone. "Please don't leave." And just like that Jaemin sat down. It wasn't because he felt bad towards Jeno, but because this was the time Jeno needed help the most but everyone had just left him. Everyone but Jaemin.
