I smiled at my dress. Everyone is wearing black but I figured I would wear my brother's favorite color: blue. Well, his favorite color is green but he said I looked really good in blue so I figured I wear blue for him one last time.

"Honey, how come your wearing blue?", Mommy asked.

"Well, Aiden said it looks good on me and it brings out my eyes so....", I said.

"You do look beautiful.", Mommy said.

I smiled and heard a horn. I gasped.

"Scar! You're ride's here!", Andy yelled.

"Coming!", I yelled back, "Bye, mommy. See you there."

I walked down the stairs and headed out to Rhyan's Hummer. Rhyan said that he'd join us and be there for us during the funeral. In all honesty, I think he just wants to protect me.

"Ready?", Rhyan asked.

"Yes, I'm ready.", I said and got in the passenger seat where mommy put my car seat.

Rhyan drove to the church and parked in an open spot close to the entrance. We walked inside and Rhyan signed us in.

"Scarlett!", My cousin yelled and ran over.

"Hey, Rya.", I said.

"I was wondering, my mom said that there was a party after the burial. Why?", Rya asked.

"Aiden and mom were talking a week before the accident. They were talking about funerals and what they wanted to do. Aiden said that he wanted to be buried here in Jasper and that he wanted everyone to have fun and party after the funeral. He didn't believe that funerals should be sad. He believed that everyone should celebrate that the person who died is in peace and no longer suffering.", I explained.

"What would you want to do when you die?", Rya asked.

"I would want to be buried next to my family.", I said, "Other than that, I don't know."

"I'd want to be shot up into the moon like in Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2.", Rya said.

I shook my head and looked at the pictures mommy put on the board of memories. Aiden looked so cute as a baby.

"What's this?", Rhyan asked.

"Pictures of Aiden from when he was a baby up until he died.", I said, "How's Orion?"

"Recovering quite well.", Rhyan said, "Thanks to you."

"That's good.", I said.

"There's Aiden holding you.", Rhyan said and gestured to a picture.

"That is me. How'd you know?", I asked.

"I was there when you were born.", Rhyan said, "A month before you were born, I was assigned by Orion to protect you."

"How come?", I asked.

"I'm not sure.", Rhyan said.

Shortly after mommy, Amelia, Andy, and Diego arrived, the funeral started. Soon, it was time for my speech. Rhyan walked up with me.

"Aiden was a great brother, son, friend, and caregiver. He would always take care of Andy, Amelia, and I when Diego or mommy were gone. He acted more like a friend to me than a brother. We'd always tell one another secrets like friends would and sometimes he'd drive me around town just so he could get behind the wheel of his new car.", I said, some people laughed, "As a young boy, he would tell everyone he saw that one day he was going to be like Dwayne Johnson." More laughs "When I was born, he just wanted to be a brother. A friend. He used to tell me stories about when he would change me. I'd run around the house and he'd chase me with a diper in his hand. Sometimes it was the other way around." Again, more laughs. "He would help our father take houses from one place to another. He always took out quite a few mailboxes. He lost a house once and a garage collapsed on the road while he was driving. Then he lost that house too." I heard Rhyan chuckle while some people were full on laughing. "But what made him the best brother ever was that if you had a nightmare, he was right there to listen. Sure he got into fights with my siblings and I but most of those were bets on how hard he could make us laugh. I won a few of those by the way." More laughs. I started crying as I finished. "Aiden, if you're listening, if you're here with us today, we all love you no matter what and we're glad you're no longer suffering. Though we will miss you, we know that you are happy and that you  will watch over us as you promised. Know that your memory will live on. I had hoped that this final goodbye wouldn't come so soon but it has. Goodbye, Aiden, dear brother of mine."

I walked over to his casket with tears in my eyes and kissed his forehead.

"Rest in peace.", I said and walked back to my family.
