We finished up lunch, which was soup because of Autumn's recent chill, and we headed home. Missy invited my mother and I over the next day, seeming as it was Sunday today and tomorrow I had off school. Missy said that the boys were free to tag along,I know my dad would cause he likes Joel. But I doubt Parker would come, ever since Julia taped him to a chair, you'd be surpprised what she could do with a few roles of Scotch tape. Nighttime settled in early and I wandered about the third floor of the house. The third story was mine. It had my room,my own bathrrom a spare room which I used for my clothes and such, and it had a library. I couldn't complain, just as long as Parker didn't intrude. Tonight I flicked on the TV and sat back, waiting for football to be over and for the night shows to start.

My mind started to pick up some words. But I couldn't fit them together,I wasn't skilled at it yet,but I could guess that Josh was trying to say something. I turned off the tevelvison and listened, focusing the best I could.

After some time, my head was really hurting and I hadn't received any words at all. Getting up from my bed, I walked over to the window and gazed at the white bricked house. I found the large window, but the lights weren't on in that room.

My eyes flashed to a window exactly across from mine. The window was slightly larger, and it was covered by a curtain. A clear one that is. The light was on and many figures moved about the room in panic. What was going on?

I quickly backed away from my window when a blast of words came into my head,at least a book's worth of words.

I plugged my ears,in attempt to shut them out,but they were inside my head. Falling to the floor, the words faded and I was left with a soft beeping and I could hear my heart's pulse.

I stood up and looked around, returning to the window, the light next door was now turned out, nothing moved behind the curtain.

Weird.

I sighed with relief, and returned to the TV.

The game was ending, then the power shut off.

"You've got to be kinding me," I whispered.

The room pulsed with a bright blue light, with a few globs of bright white electricity.

The walls of the room creaked and so did the floor,as if the room was coming to life.

A slight roar filled the room and the door slammed shut.

"Careful for you are lured,to help him find a cure."A whisper told me before my head was slammed down into the wood of the floor.

My ears ringing,my vision blurring up,the light swallowed me whole.
