Raining on an Autumn day, my favorite experience. Something interrupted it though. It was a line of trucks next door,at the old house that's been unwanted for so long. I guess it's now finally claimed. The house is okay. It's white brick with ivy vines growing up the side. It has a main gate that is rusted and squeaky. On the inside? Well I've never been inside, maybe there's blood stains everywhere? Who knows. In the front of the house lies two garden beds on either side of the sidewalk that led to the big double doors. Garden bed held still thriving white roses. A van drove up and it was time to see who was new next door. I hope there's a few people who will be attending my school. A cheery couple got out and I nearly punched the window. Of course there isn't new students, looks like a newly married couple anyways.

But wait.

The side door slid open and a little girl about...eight years old got out. Along with a tall boy who held her hand. Yes! Someone new,I guess that marriage is really good.

As the family made way across the yard, something unusual about the boy caught my eye. He was a pale gray,to think it was the lighting, I looked over at his parents, they were just pale. And the expression on his face was unreadable. He was in a daze. Even the little girl didn't catch his eye as she jumped up and grabbed at him.

The boy reminded me of a cold blooded killer in a movie, unfocused and in a daze because either he was busy thinking of someone to kill next,or because he was finally being haunted by the lives he took.

He looked at me,right at me. My room is the third floor and he was making exact eye contact with me. My heart was beating as I quickly ducked down under the window, out of sight.

How did he see me?

A minute passed and I looked out the window again, the family was inside. I breathed with relief, dragging my fingers through my long auburn hair.

Careful what you wish for, because for all I know, this boy might be in my school.

I hope not. I looked at the side windows of the house,at least three floor in the house, like mine.

There was a giant window at the first floor,on the side of the house. Something moved, before I noticed that the boy had pulled a chair to the window and sat down, looking right at me.

Ducking down again,I crawled out of my room and raced down to the kitchen, where my family was watching through the window the moving trucks in excitement to meeting the new neighbors.

I grabbed a glass of water. This ought to be fun...
