Y/N: Your Name

"Y/N! Get your ass out of your room this instant!"
The sun peeked out from the window that was covered by the blinds, flaked with dust. It nipped at your exposed skin which caused you to open your eyes slightly to the heat that came from it. You always made your room dark but today was an exception. You were so full of life today and there was nobody that could put you down for it, except for your parents of course. Your mother being the worse out of it. She treated you like shit after you graduated high school because she was so urgent for you to pack your things and leave. You never knew why, you never asked why. For you feared angering the almighty beast with painted nails. God you despised her.
"Y/N if you don't leave your room in five seconds I'm coming in there!"
"I'm coming Mom Jesus fucking Christ!" You exclaimed and sat up, rubbing your eyes clumsily before sliding off your bed and going to your dresser. You opened it up to search for some warm clothes to wear. Meanwhile doing that you glanced to see what time it was.
"8:35..." You murmured tiredly before gasping. "8:35! Fuck I'm late for the job interview!"
That was when you raced faster to put on something. You threw on a white laced, buttoned blouse with brown slacks and some brown flats. It wasn't that formal but it definitely represented job worthy. You put your hair in a loose bun and headed out the bedroom door, having your parents staring at you with a disappointed glare.
"Yeah, what the hell do you think you're doing sleeping so late? Don't you want to get a job and move out of this house?"
"Believe me Mom, I dream about leaving this place. You should've awoke me if you knew it was that important."
"Just because I'm your mother doesn't mean I do things for you. You forget that you're a 23 year old woman who still sleeps at your parents's house."
That was rather rude wasn't it either though it was the truth. You lacked the some in somebody because ever since you graduated high school you haven't applied for any college or a job for you felt scared for what the future had for you. You weren't ready for the responsibility of being an adult for you loved the memories you had as a child. While freedom was great, why did freedom cause great suffering such as paying bills and college tuition?
You didn't have time to eat breakfast for you snatched up your keys and raced out the door to your parent's van. It was a little bit humid today in London and you were shocked at how hot it was, since it was generally colder than any other place. Once inside the car you pushed the keys in and twisted, resulting in a loud grumble as if it didn't want to wake up. Loud music began playing from the radio and it made you gasp in fear. Why were you so easily scared? Sometimes you blamed your parents for that, sometimes you blamed everyone in high school for making you afraid like that.
While driving to the interview you found yourself distracted by the sight during the trip. Pedestrians roam the sidewalks with bags in hand or holding someone they care for so dearly, taking in the fragrance from nearby shops and restaurants. At times like these you wish you had someone to experience London with you.
You found yourself stopping at the stop light, looking at the other cars that stopped beside your father's car. They looked angry with their eyebrows furrowed and the grip on their steering wheel. It made you feel a slight hint of fear but you never showed it, for you just focused on getting to that job interview. The thought of leaving your past and parents behind you was enough to make you smile in excitement. Soon Y/N soon...you just have to wait.
