A ray of light flashed across your eyes and made you awoke. When your eyes opened you noticed that you were in a different place than before. Aside from that, you had a raging headache and a need to hit somebody in the face. But that wasn't important. What was was where you are, and how you came here.
Barely awake, you searched your phone and found it in your pocket. You turned it on, swiped your thumb across, and noticed the time. 6:20. A time usually your parents wake you up by. You never knew you were capable of waking up on your own.
The place looked fancy. You were in a large living room with cream colored walls to compliment the light yellow couch you rested on. A television, as big as a window, set in front of you playing a cartoon show. There was also a coffee table nearby that had shells inside and pictures of a family having fun together. This place sure did have a lot of things that you wished you had.
A smell that made your tastebuds water came from the kitchen. It was a smell of little white grease bubbles in a crispy black frying pan. Eggs frying, bacon sizzling, whiff of pancakes oozing with butter, was this a dream come true?
You heard muffled talking which made your body go tense. Last night's memory was so blurry and you couldn't recall who brought you here. But the familiar eyes of the forest were imprinted in your mind and you didn't know who it belonged to. The thought of them bringing you here with the intention to hurt you reminded you of the fight with your parents.

"How dare you speak to us like that? Your mother like that? Have you forgotten that you're our daughter?" That dangerous voice whispered in your ears, refreshing your memory of the father's angry tone. He wanted to say something that was a lot more gruesome but the words just couldn't leave his mouth. Your mother was the opposite, for she was the one that could say anything blunt to you without feeling guilty about it. Both an odd mixture that makes you sick to your stomach.___________________________________
Suddenly a lump reached your throat and tears pricked your eyes. There was an odd feeling in your stomach like something was circling inside that made you feel queasy.

Your mouth formed an O and you felt vomit finding its way up your throat and on the floor. Loud sounds came from you by gagging or wheezing for air. The body that was wrapped in soft cotton blankets was now becoming heated and was arched.

There was a pile of liquid food and the remains of something mixed in with it. Footsteps were approaching you, but you stayed where you are, continuing to throw back something up. A firm hand rested on your back and tried to encourage to stay calm. The voice was so sincere. It had a fatherly tone to it."Alright, let it all out. It's okay.." That voice whispered whilst they worked on tying your hair back. You wanted to see who they were but your eyes were fixated on the thing that came out of your mouth. You were so distracted by what happened last night with your parents that you were afraid to look at them in shame.
There was only a little bit that came out of your mouth before you collapsed into the person's arms. You glanced up to see their face and realized who they were. The guy with the forest eyes. Oh yeah, that was him.
A smile began to form on your lips as you felt so lucky to have been rescued by him. God knows what would happen if you were in the alleyway for a little bit longer. Someone could've kidnapped you or worse, raped you. That night was already hell and if that were to happen, it would be nothing but life wanted to bring you down on your knees.
