I returned to the Kanto region to go challenge the Elite Four and the Champion. When I reached the end of Victory Road, I ran into Gold. We had a battle and he defeated me. Lance's words and Gold's words were slowly starting to sink in. It made me think that how I was treating my Pokémon could be wrong and could be the reason why I can't seem to defeat Lance or Gold. I challenged the Elite Four and won. However, I lost to the Champion, Lance. After my defeat, he reminded me of those words and they continued to sink in further.
I returned to Pallet Town to see how Green was doing. We hadn't seen each other in a while. We missed each other so much and we gave each other a tight hug. We were both doing much better knowing that Team Rocket disbanded. However, I still wanted to become stronger. Strong enough to defeat Gold and Lance so I set out to travel the Kanto region and collect all 8 gym badges. Before I left Pallet Town to go on my journey through the Kanto region, Lance's and Gold's words finally sunk it and brought out the good side in me. I started to treat my Pokémon with love, care, and respect. I treated like my friends and family. I gave them attention and took good care of them. I felt so bad for how I treated my Pokémon. Even still to the present day I feel bad for how I treated them and I vowed I would never treat any Pokémon horribly again. From that day on, I treated all Pokémon with love, care, and respect. I decided that I would pass off the words from Gold and Lance to my father. If they could bring out the good in me, then I could bring out the good in my father.
"No Pokémon is useless. Every Pokémon has potential and is special in their own way. Believe in your Pokémon. Pokémon are not tools for wars. They are your friends, your family."
Those words I would forever believe in and pass off to everyone I met.
I left Pallet Town to start my journey in the Kanto region. My Kadabra evolved into an Alakazam and my Haunter evolved into a Gengar. After I got my first badge, I ran into Gold at Mt. Moon. I challenged him to show him how much stronger I got. I told him how his and Lance's words got through to me and how I have been on a better path of treating my Pokémon with love, care, and respect. I lost the battle to Gold, but that made me more determined to get stronger. My Golbat evolved into a Crobat. My Pokémon began to trust me and see me as their friend and family. They loved me and cared about me. They forgave me. Even though I was forgiven, I do not deserve to be forgiven for what I had done to them. We became a lot closer than ever, making us much stronger. When I got to Cerulean City, I heard about a member of Team Rocket roaming around. I had thought Team Rocket disbanded which turned out to be true. This lone Team Rocket Grunt was up to no good until he was defeated and learned of his team being disbanded. After that, that was the last I heard of Team Rocket's activities. After I received my seventh badge at Cinnabar Island, I traveled to the Sevii Islands and explored them. Once I was done, I returned to Pallet Town to see Green. It had been a while since we last seen each other and we gave each other a tight hug. My journey was not over yet. I still needed one more badge and then to defeat the Elite Four and the Champion. I got to Viridian City to challenge the gym leader. The gym leader was Blue. Red's rival. I defeated him and got my eighth gym badge. I was now ready to return to the Indigo Plateau to challenge the Elite Four and Lance.
On my way to the Indigo Plateau, I ran into my father. I hadn't seen him since he left me in my childhood. I asked him what happened, what he plans on doing next.
Giovanni: I'm going to work on rebuilding Team Rocket. Team Rocket will never fall. We will rise up after each defeat and be even stronger than ever. You are welcome to join me when we make our return.
Silver: Didn't you learn after Red defeated you?! Even when your admins tried to bring back Team Rocket, they failed. That's twice now you have disbanded. If you bring Team Rocket back, then I will not stop until they are defeated again and I promise you I will make you turn over a new leaf in life.
Giovanni: I see. So your opinion has not changed. Well just know my offer stands.
Silver: What you are doing is wrong father. No Pokémon is useless. Every Pokémon has potential and is special in their own way. Believe in your Pokémon. Pokémon are not tools for wars. They are your friends, your family. I have become strong on my own!
After that, he disappeared. Wherever Team Rocket would rise, I would be there to put a stop to them. That's a promise. I got to the Indigo Plateau and I defeated the Elite Four and Lance. I showed Lance how much I have changed and he was happy to see that I was treating my Pokémon with love, care, and respect. It made me feel good inside. He mentioned to me that Mt. Silver was open so that's where my next destination was.
