3- Tearing apart & getting closer

rashawn hasnt been talking to me. so after lunch i went up to him & said:

"Whats your problem, you haven't been talking to me since second period?"

"My problem is you're trying to chase a boy who you've been fighting & arguing with all 7th grade & you haven't realized the one you need has been standing in front of you the whole entire time" he responded & walked off.

I stood there thinking does he actually think i like nathan !? hes been the one ive been chasing the whole time. hasnt he ever heard how a girl tries to get a persons  attention by liking someone else !?

After school i stayed for dance tryouts. i love to dance. i changed into my dance clothes. i spotted the captain as soon as i entered the gym. she was slim, had long hair & tons of makeup on.

i saw someone i knew from last year Mariana. she loves to dance also.

"Hey kaylapoo" mari said

"hey" i said

but our conversation got cut off by the captain.

"Hello my name Camryn & im the captain of this dance team. theres alot of you here but not all of you will make it" she chuckles.

I roll my eyes. who did she think she was ? Queen latifah ? tuh.

After tryouts, Camryn announced that the people who made it will be announced on friday. i hope i made it. dancing is life to me.

as i walked out the gym i saw Nathan. there was soccer tryouts today also. & he loves to play soccer.  i tried not to make eye contact while i ran outside. but he chased after me. ugh this dude is annoying.

"Kayla!"

i turned around slowly.

"Nate"

"Ive seen you around school but i didnt get a chance to talk you" he said

"Mhm, is that right ?" i said

"Yea of course you kno i wud never lie to u. u sis remember? "

"Yeah of course. " i said

we walked to the carpool together not saying a word to each other. i tried to out walk him but he caught up to me.

As soon as i spotted my mom, i made a run for it.

Nathan obviously knew what was going on. but he still yelled:

"Ill text you!!"
