The next day at school. i walked to my locker to find a note. it read:
'Go to the cafeteria as soon as you get this'
I went to the cafeteria. it was dark in there , they usually have breakfast in the morning. but the door was unlocked. i went in. & i heard someone singing one direction you& i. one of my favorite songs. the lights turned on & i saw rashawn on his knees singing to me. i thought it was sweet of him. when he was done singing he said on the mic
" i know ive been to shy to admit my love for you but i need you to know today, at this very moment that im i love you & i want you to go to the dance with me."
He took my hand & guided me to a room where there were candles lit & rose petals on the floor & a table which had breakfast on it.
"i know nathan already asked you but um you said you didnt know . so i tried a shot at it."
"Shawn, this is all soooo sweet & i love you for this but i still have to think about your question too."
"Okay, i know, you need your space. all this is too much to take in, so ill give you some time." he said
he still let met eat breakfast with him which was sweet & we walked to class together.
After school... i had dance practice again & the soccer team came to watch us. so that means nate is gonna watch me dance.
As the music cut on, i tried not to look at the soccer team & focus on the routine. while i was dancing i felt free & alive. dancing makes me think & it solves my problems. im in love with dancing. my inspiration is the dancing dolls from the show bring it on lifetime.
When we were done with the routine, the soccer team clapped.
Nate came up to me & said "You were the best one out there"
"of course you would say that, you're trying to win me over" i said as i picked up my bag.
"I love you" he said
"You need to know nate that rashawn asked me to the dance also." i said
His face dropped. "Oh, but you're gonna pick me right?"
"I dont know. i have to think about it. "
"How long til my true love realizes that i am her Prince?" he asked
I laughed. it was cute the way he was talking. "give me till friday."
"Ah c'mon, the day before the dance." he said disappointed
"If you really wanted me, you would wait nate."
"Fine, but i love you still" nate yelled
I smiled. he always tells me those 3 words. its cute how he will wait for me. todays Wednesday, i have til Friday to make my decision.
