Todays Monday & i dont feel like going to school. Its too much to look at Nathan. Like it was really sweet of him to do all that. i never knew i had someone who loved me.
I walked in school & all i see is papers everywhere on walls & lockers. my friend carline comes running to me asking am i going to the dance. i said maybe. i dont know if i really have a date after last night.
When morning annoucements came on the speaker announced:
A night under the stars. come to the 8th grade dance this saturday night @ 7pm sharp. dress code: ladies- dresses or a skirt with a shirt.
men- a suit& tie
While the was speaker was annoucing the dance, rashawn was looking dead at me. i avoided his look. how do i know that rashawn loves me more than nathan. after last night with all that sweet talk.
At lunch today, boys were asking girls out to the dance. i was sitting with carline & mari. a boy named joshua asked carline & justin asked mari. i felt like a loner.
Next day, at a pep rally for the basketball teams win. one of the basketball player named shawn announced that there was a special annoucements for someone special out there.
And then Nathan came out dressed in a tux & carrying a bouquet of roses in his hand went to the mic & said these words:
"Roses are red Violets are blue. Kayla i cant help myself that im in love with you. You sweet like candy. You beautiful like a flower. I love you. & love is a very strong word. i wouldn't say it if i didnt mean it. you my everything & i want you to be mines forever. & i hope you want me too. Roses are red Violets are blue Kayla i can't help myself that im in love with you.
The girls are screaming. the boys are applauding. & it got wilder when he got down on one knee & asked "would you go to the dance with me ?"
Again im in tears by his love & sweetness. i cant help it. i never met a guy like him before. who is so in love with me after i lied to him for another boy. i feel like he just proposed to me. i cant help it. im crying so hard. the crowd is like awww. i ran to the bathroom. i had to wash my face before i answered his big question.
