Worries

-FOUR DAYS AFTER NOGHTMARE YOU FELL DOWN KNOCKING YOUR HEAD-

You woke up to see a concerned face looking down on you. It was gally, what was he doing here?

"Gally?" You mumbled, quietly.

"Hey darli-" he stopped himself right there. Blushing he continued "Hey greenie, how are you?"

"I'm fine thanks, Gally, how long have I been out?"

"Around three days..." he trailed off

Half a week?? REALLY?  You felt so bad. All these young boys, working hard. Whilst you just... slept. Wow.

"I-I I'm so sorry Gally" you made to get up but he pushed you down.

"No, Clint said, 'if she tries to get up, don't let her, she needs rest'" he said firmly.

"But I have to help. Alby said no slackers. I feel so bad. Please let me go." You begged.

"I can't-"

You cut him off "please gally, it's just Clint" 

"Listen Y/N," he said softly "it's not just Clint, when Chuck tried to wake you up and you wouldn't, I panicked. I've never  felt like that about someone else since I was put in the glade. I thought you were dead... I felt so bad, I was angry at myself. Not only because I could've kept you safe, but I could've stopped this from happening."

"Gally, why are you telling me this?" You asked softly and kindly.

"Because, because... I think I care about you." He looked away "A-and it's okay if you don't feel the same way about me, it's just..." he sighed "You hate me now, don't you?"

"No! Of course not!" You said excitedly. "Gally," he looked at you "I've felt the same way about you, even though I've only been here a couple days" 

And out of the blue gally grabbed your face and kissed you. Passionately. And you kissed back. Willing the moment to never end. But it had to. As you both broke away, gasping for air, you looked into gallys eyes. Those beautiful green eyes. You blushed.

"I love you." He breathed

"I love you too" you blushed. Accepting his hand to help you up.

"Will you be my.. girlfriend?" He asked

"Yes!" You smiled 

"Can I Please go back to work?" You asked

"Yes. But not too hard okay?" He said sternly but warmly. You walked out of the med-jacks hut searching for chuck. You had to tell him. About what happened.

"Hey chuck!" You jogged up to the chubby boy

"Hey Y/N" he hugged you "feeling better?" 

"Yeah I've come to work with you today" chuck looked happy

"Yay!"

And I need to talk to you," you said lowering your tone "but you can't tell anyone, okay?"

"Mhmm" he nodded 

"Gally and me are a... thing and I don't know what the other gladers will think or do, please help" chuck stopped working and looked at you

"Really Y/N!" He hugged you tightly "I'm so happy for you, but you know what alby will say"

"What"

"There is a rule of no relationships in the glade, and Gally knows that. But you cant let alby know, okay?"

"Yeah but newt nor alby told me that rule, so how do you know?" You asked

"It was established between the keepers when you were out cold, they must've forgot to tell you, it was for your benefit I think"

"Oh, but if alby finds out what will he do to us?"

"Either banish you or put you in the pit with no food for three nights" you jumped, it was Newt. Oh my god newt heard. He listened! You blushed

"Hey newt, what did you hear"

"Enough" he replied

"Please don't tell anyone" you begged

"I won't I promise" he smiled, placing a hand on chucks shoulder

You breathed a sigh of relief. I need to be more careful.
