"Valty, hurry up or I'm leaving without you!"
I threatened. Valt and I were about to head down to the beach for awhile. Neither one of us was a fan of swimming in the ocean, but nothing wrong with sitting in the sand with my boy.
"Okay, I'm here!"
Valt announced as he jumped out of the bathroom.
"About time, come on."
"Hey, I had to spike my hair."
I rolled my eyes at Valt jokingly as we walked to the elevator at the end of the hall. Valt suddenly started running to the elevator and I chased after him.

We found a spot on the beach and layed down our beach towel. It was 96 degrees out here and I was already sweating. We went ahead and layed down on the towel when I was done spreading it out.
"Good night."
Valt said as he layed back, shutting his eyes.
"No, don't fall asleep babel."
"Why not?"
"Because I wanna be able to talk to you."
I told him as I grabbed him around his waist and pulled him to me. I started kissing his neck and face repeatedly as he blushed. He turned over to face me so he could kiss me as well.
"Happy Anniversary Shu Kurenai."
"Happy Anniversary to you too Valt Kurenai."
We said to each other. I started remembering back to the day I proposed to Valt.
~GAY FLASHBACK~

Valt and I were at the same park that we usually came to, and let Valkyrie run around and get some energy out. It was so nice out, it was warm with a nice breeze, and trees and flowers were blooming. The cherry blossom trees were in perfect bloom too. Valt and I sat on the big hill as we held hands and watched our dog play.
"Valt, come with me."
I told him as I held his hand and had him follow behind me. We carefully got down the hill and I lead him to one of the cherry blossom trees, sitting under it.
"I love the cherry blossom trees, haha."
I told him.
"So do I, they're so pretty."
We held hands, fingers intertwined, and while Valt was looking away I pulled out a small black velvet box and flipped it open with my thumb. I turned to Valt.
"Valt Aoi."
I got his attention.
"Will you marry me?"
I asked, presenting the ring to him. The ring was a plain silver band, but I planned to have it engraved soon. Valt had hia jaw dropped and tears gathering in his eyes. He nodded his head yes as he smiled.
"Yeah!"
He finally said. His face was so red and I could feel my face heating up too. I smiled as I leaned in and kissed Valt's soft lips. When we pulled away, I took his hand and put his new ring on his finger.
"Do you like it?"
I asked him.
"Yes."
He hugged me as he cried happily, making me smile even more as I hugged him back.
"I love you Valt."
"I love you too Shu."

"Well, I have sunburn on top of sunburn now!"
I complained as fell on the bed. I layed there for a bit with my eyes closed, but suddenly felt something cold on my stomach and chest, making me look up instantly.
"Haha, cold?"
Valt asked as he rubbed Aloe on me again.
"You scared me, haha. Give me the bottle, I'll put some on you."
I grabbed the bottle from Valty and he sat in the floor on his knees. I sat behind him and poured the Aloe on his shoulders and back, rubbing it in gently.
"The cold feels nice."
He said relaxingly. I moved in front of him, rubbing in more on his chest as well.

Valt and I decided it would be nice to go on a night walk out on the pier. We saw some people fishing at the very end of the pier, and thought we'd go see if they were catching anything. Valt and I walked hand in hand and fingers intertwined. The pier was nice and the beach looked nice at night as well. When we got to the end of the pier, we sat on a bench and watched the few people fish. The guy in front of us caught a baby shark, scaring Valt and me to death.
"Woah! No! Nope!"
I yelled as I quickly stood up with Valt and got away from the guys that were fishing. We decided to go walk around on the beach, since there wasn't anyone down there. We sat in the sand, talking about the hellish year we had since we've been married. It wasn't our marriage that was hellish, it was the whole Red Eye shit and when Valt was shot and left for dead, which I still blame myself for.
"Valt, I know this first year has been hell because of me, but it's all worth it since I still have you here."
I told him as I nuzzled his head.
"Shu, I don't blame you for anything that has happened. Not even for becoming Red Eye. None of it was your fault, but you're right about it being worth it. I'm glad I have you too Shu."
I gazed into Valt's hazelnut eyes as they glimmered with joy. My Valty was always happy, no matter what, and that was another thing I loved about him. He always knew how to cheer people up, especially me. I put my hand under his jaw lightly as I leaned in slowly for our lips to meet. We began doing a bit more than kissing. Our tongues wrestled for dominance as I gently pushed Valt to lay down. He put his hand on the back of my neck and ran his fingers through my white hair. I pulled away from our make out session to come up for air. It felt like I just fell in love with Valt all over again, or even more, which I didn't think was possible. I was already so in love with him.
