Valt and I were sitting on the couch, watching TV. Valkyrie was asleep in our room. It was 2PM and I started hearing Valt's stomach growl. I wasn't surprised.
"I'll go make you some food, haha."
I told Valty.
"You read my mind, hehe!"
"No, I heard your stomach."
I said, smiling and ruffling his hair as I got up. I headed into the kitchen and put on my blue and white apron. Valt sat on a stool in front of me at the bar counter.
"I'm gonna watch ya!"
He said, making his cheeky grin.
"You'll get bored, haha."
"Still, I wanna keep you company."
He said, smiling. I loved his smile.
"I do love your company babe."
I said as I leaned across the counter and kissed him on the cheek.

Valt
I watched as my husband made us some food. He's such a great cook!
"Is it done yet?"
"I literally just turned the stove on Valt. It's gonna be awhile."
"Ugh!!"
I was so impatient and Shu knew that. I'm glad he knows how to tolerate me.
"Here, eat a piece of bread to hold you over, haha."
I took the piece of bread that Shu gave me and went ahead and ate it. After I was done, I grabbed a soda out of the fridge and took a sip, then set it on the counter where I was sitting so I could hug Shu from behind.
"It's almost done babe."
Shu assured me as he took a sip of my drink.
"I didn't say you could have any!"
"I didn't ask."
Shu said as he smiled and winked at me, joking around.
"Wow, savage Shu."
I said sarcastically.
"Pfft, come here and try this."
I leaned across the counter and took a bite of the pasta he was making.
"That tastes great babe!"
"In that case, it's done."
"Yes!!"

"Shu, I'm gonna go walk Valkyrie. I'll be back."
I told him as I gave him a kiss and walked out the door with Valkyrie. I walked out the front doors of our apartment complex and I decided to walk Valkyrie at the park. When we got there, I saw Stan Hamber from BC Sol. He was one of my bullies when I was there. I was wondering why he was here, in Japan, but I also wanted to stay un injured, so I just kept walking with Valkyrie.
"Valt Aoi!"
I heard my name being called and I knew it was Stan.
"Shit..."
I thought to myself. My anxiety started to make me feel sick.
"It's Valt Kurenai... Y-you know that..."
I corrected him. Probably not the best idea.
"As if I care."
"What are you doing in Japan?"
I noticed Valkyrie was staring at Stan, and it wasn't a happy stare. He would show his teeth every few seconds.
"None of your business, brat."
"Okay. I gotta head home so-"
"Oh no you don't!"
He cut me off as he grabbed me by my shirt and held up his fist, like he was gonna punch me. I closed my eyes and turned away, but I heard Valkyrie snarling at Stan.
"Whoa, what the hell is with your dog?"
Stan asked with fear in his eyes.
"Get off me, or he'll attack. He's my service dog."
"Grr... Stupid dog..."
"Stupid Stan!"
After I said that, I bolted the fuck out of there.

I bolted in the apartment door and slammed and locked it. I know I just scared the hell out of Shu.
"Whoa! Babe, what the hell?"
I was breathing heavily and I knew my face was dead ass red. I fell on the floor, feeling like I was gonna pass out.

Valt scared me when he bursted through the door. Now he had collapsed on the floor and he was so red. Valkyrie was worried about him too. He was whimpering and sniffing him.
"Valt?!"
I yelled to get his attention.
"Huh..."
"What happened? What's wrong?"
I asked impatiently.
"I... I ran into one of my bullies from BC Sol... His name is Stan Hamber."
"Did he hurt you?!"
"He tried. Valkyrie scared him."
I petted Valkyrie as praise for protecting Valt.
"We ran the whole way back here..."
"Baby, let me get you some water."
I got up and went to the fridge, getting Valt a cold bottle of water. He was really dehydrated and needed a lot of it. I sat back down on the floor with him and got him to roll over on his back and open his mouth some. I poured some water in his mouth and got him to sit up against the wall.
"Feeling better?"
I asked as I petted his head.
"A little. I still feel sick."
He said, putting his hand over his stomach.
"It'll feel better in a minute. Drink some more water."
I told him and gave the bottle of water to him. After he took a sip, I saw tears gathering in his eyes.
"Valt, what's the matter?"
He started crying harder as soon as I asked. I pulled him into a hug and he buried his face in my chest.
"I'm so useless... I couldn't even stand up to that bastard."
He said through his crying.
"Valt, don't say that. You're not useless babe and no one thinks you are."
"Shu, the only reason I didn't get my ass kicked, was because Valkyrie was there to scare him off. If I hadn't had Valkyrie, I'd probably be covered in bruises."
Damn. I was hoping that Valt wasn't going through another relapse of depression. It scares me when he does and I have to watch him closely so he doesn't try anything. I was wanting to meet this Stan guy and tell him off.
"Valty, I've seen you stand up to a lot of bastards. That homophobic on the plane, Wakiya, before he became our friend, you've even stood up to Lui, and we all know how bad Lui is."
He started to smile and laugh a bit. I wiped away his tears with my thumb and kissed his eye.
"You're amazing Valt. Whoever disagrees is a complete dumbass and they don't deserve any of your time. You're worth everything good and I love you."
"Shu... I love you too, dork."
