Shu Today Valt and I were gonna walk through the outlet stores in Savannah and see if we could maybe get a few souvenirs. We headed out the door at 8am and began walking to our rental car. I still find it difficult to drive on the opposite side of the road and car.
"I'm still iffy on driving on the opposite side of everything."
"I mean, you haven't killed us yet so..."
Valt said jokingly with his signature cheeky smile. We got into the car and started down the road. ----------- We got to the store village and it was really nice. They had trollies, you could see the ocean no matter where you were, and a lot of big and small boats out in the ocean. If I wasn't so sea sick, we could go out on a boat and watch dolphins, Valt's favorite animal. I remember when we were younger, he had seen a dolphin jump out of the water back home and he tried to go get in the water with it, haha. I was able to hold him back. The first thing Valt saw was an ice cream shop, and of course he had to go in.
"Shu, look! Come on, I'm buying!"
"I'm right behind ya, haha!"
Valty ran in the store as I followed him and his shoes slid across the floor. I stood next to him as he looked at all the flavors of ice cream there were.
"Do you wanna share or do you want your own?"
Valt turned and asked me.
"We can share. We like the same thing anyway."
"Yeah, that's true!"
Valt ordered us a vanilla ice cream cone for us to share. They were pretty big, so sharing one was the best option. Valt paid for our ice cream as we walked back outside and found a small wall to sit on and eat. Valt, of course, took the first bite of our dairy treat.
"Ahh! Brain freeze!!"
Valty yelled. I chuckled at his outburst .
"Ahaha! Yes Valt, it's ice cream. You know you can't eat that much at one time. I thought you learned your lesson the past 80 times, haha."
"I'm okay!"
He claimed as I shook my head.
"You never learn, do you babe."
I said as I kissed the temple of his head, then took a bite of the ice cream. ----------- We had been in four stores already and all of them were filled with multiple things. We got a few things already, like a Savannah, GA magnet, a few souvenir hoodies for both of us, bracelets with our names on them, which we actually had to get customed because Shu and Valt weren't exactly common names in America. Now we were getting T-shirts made with our names on them too, and matching. They were both gonna have two dolphins jumping out of the water, then our names in the lower corner. We had been here for hours and we were starting to get weird looks from people again. Fortunately, my boy and I knew how to ignore them and return the weird looks, hahaha! We walked over to the known statue of Savannah or a girl waving down a ship with a sheet, and her collie standing next to her.

Valt and I took a few pictures of ourselves and the statue. Valt looked so cute in all the pictures, I blushed when I scrolled through my phone to look at them.
"Aww! You're so cute in all of these Shu!"
Valt claimed with a cheeky smile.
"I think you're looking at yourself babe."
I said as I wrapped my arm around his shoulder. He looked up at me with a warm smile on his face and glimmering in his eyes. I smiled back at him as we both leaned in for a kiss. It felt like fireworks were going off behind us, but I was imagining them in my mind. Kissing Valt really did feel like fireworks and sparklers were all around us. We pulled away from the kiss and I scooted even closer next to Valty. -------------- I carried Valt on my back and headed back to the car. It was getting late and Valt had fallen asleep while we were watching all the boats go by.
"Valty, we're at the car babe. I'm gonna put you down."
I told him, letting go of his legs. Valt stretched his arms as he sat in the passenger seat. ---------- I carried Valt back up to our room. I could tell he was really wore out. I would be too if I had his energy and ran out of it. ----------- "Shu! Shu, wake up!"
I heard Valt telling me, but I wasn't awake enough to be able to move or speak. I had a feeling he was about to jump on me or dump water on me or something.
"SHU KURENAI!!!!!!!!"
Ahhhh! Nevermind! Guess he decided to use his pipes that tend to never give out...
"Dammit, Valt..."
I said as I saw that he was on top of me and staring at me.
"Are you awake babel?"
He asked me as he smiled.
"After that, who isn't awake, honestly. Haha."
Valt blushed as if he was proud of himself. I shook my head and sat up to peck him on his soft lips.
"So, what are we doing today babe?"
My Valty asked as he followed me around the room.
"Well... I actually saw a Beyblade store that I kinda wanna check out..."
"W-what..? Shu, you said you were gonna quit blading. Because of the Red Eye ordeal!"
I saw tears gathering in Valt's eyes and I didn't wanna upset him, but I really wanted to check out that store. I know I retired from Beyblading, but I just wanted to look.
"Valt... I just wanna look around in there, I promise."
I told him as he folded his arms and had an angry look on his face.
"That what you said when you went to the Snake Pit?"
"Valt!"
"Whatever! If you go, it's gonna be without me! Because I retired from blading with and for you! Maybe I should just go ahead and start calling you Red Eye again..."
...Valt...
-------------------- Btw, I live in Georgia and we've been to Savannah, but it was years ago so I don't remember half the stores that were there. I was surprised I remembered The Waving Girl statue. Anyway, more drama! Let's make things interesting again, huh? Lol
