I got a text from Wakiya asking if Valt and I wanted to meet up and hang out later. Apparently Daigo was back in Japan for a week, taking time off from blading. Wakiya and Honcho had come home when Valt and I did.
"Valty, get some clothes on."
I told him as I sat on the edge of the bed, already dressed.
"Nnn... I do have clothes on..."
He said tiredly.
"You don't have a shirt on, and you can't just wear pajama pants. Come on or I'll drag you off the bed."
I have had to drag him off the bed before. Of course I never let him hit the floor... On purpose.
"UgggGGHHHH!"
He groaned in an annoyed tone loudly.
"...You good?"
"Come carry me."
I sighed and smiled at him, knowing this was how he is and I loved it. I sat down on the bed and let him get on my back. He wrapped his legs and arms around me. I looked at his face on my shoulder and saw he was already drifting back off to sleep. I carried him to the kitchen and sat him down on one of the bar stools.
"There, haha. You gotta wake up now Valt."
"You know I can't stay awake on an empty stomach Shu."
"Yeah, yeah, I'm getting you something. But for the record, you can hardly stay awake on a full stomach either Valty, haha."
Valt gave me his cheeky smile as he moved his hair out of his face as I gave him his food. I had ate while he was still asleep.
"Ugh, I need to go spike my hair. It keeps getting in my face."
Valt complained. I walked on the side of the counter he was on and ruffled up his blue hair.
"Hehe, I like your hair down, it's cute."
"I'm not trying to look 'cute'."
He sank down in the bar stool with his arms folded and frowned. I snickered at his immaturity.
"Aww, you gonna pout now?"
"Meh..."
"Don't be pouty Valty."
He turned his head playfully as I grabbed him by his waist and pulled him towards me, almost making the stool fall over with him.
"Shit, Shu!"
"Calm down, I've got you, haha. I wouldn't let you fall."
I assured him as I kissed his nose.

We all met up at the park on the hill where just about everyone sits. Wakiya was already there waiting on us, but Daigo and Rantaro didn't seem to be there yet. We decided we would Bring Valkyrie along, since the guys have hardly met him.
"Well, it's about damn time."
Wakiya said jokingly.
"Wakiya!!!"
Valt yelled happily and ran and tackled Wakiya. Both of them rolled down the hill as I ran after them to check on them both, Valkyrie running ahead, worried about Valt."
"Guys!"
"Ugh, Valt!"
"Yes??"
He raised his head, answering with his cheeky grin that didn't attract Wakiya like it did me.
"Still so clumsy as ever.."
Wakiya said as they both stood up. Valkyrie sniffed Valty to make sure he was okay.
"I'm okay Valkyrie, haha. Good boy."
"Are you both good?"
I asked them.
"Yes. May wanna control your husband next time though."
"Haha, once Valt is excited, there's no stopping him. Besides, he's 20 years old, I don't control him."
I took Valkyrie off his leash and let him run around the park. Valt trained him to know not to run off too far. He has to stay in sight. Finally, Daigo and Rantaro showed up. Shit was gonna get crazy now that Rantaro was here with Valt. Them two were always hyper. I noticed Wakiya and Rantaro walking towards each other and we all saw them do something we never thought they would do.
"Woah! Am I seeing things, or did you two just kiss?!"
Valt asked.
"Your sight is perfectly fine Valt. You just saw us kiss."
Wakiya assured him. Valt's eyes lit up with so much joy for Wakiya and Honcho. Apparently Daigo already knew, so he wasn't shocked by the kiss. I grabbed Valt's hand and intertwined our fingers.
"Well, congrats guys. You're gonna love being together."
I told them. I looked to make sure Valkyrie was still near us, and I saw Daigo already playing with him. I was glad that no one brought their beys or even mentioned them. I can't trust myself in a bey battle and it would be shitty to just watch them battle. I had so much energy right now and I felt the way Valt usually does, hyper. I was so tempted to run to the swings on the playground, I couldn't hold still.
"Shu, you good?"
Valty asked me.
"Y-yeah... I'm just really hyper right now and we know how rare it is for me to be full on hyper like you."
"Really!? Sweet, I'll race you to the swings! GO!"
"I wasn't ready!!"
I yelled as I chased after my partner. I was able to run faster and beat Valt to the swings.
"HAH! I win babel!"
I bragged to him.
"Did you just call me 'babel'?"
"Uhh, yeah. I don't remember where I heard that, but I thought it sounded cute so..."

A few hours had passed and we had been laying on the hill for 30 minutes, just chatting. The street lights were on. Valt had his head laying on my chest and so did Rantaro with Wakiya. Daigo was cuddled up with our dog. It was getting late and Valt had already fallen asleep. I wasn't looking forward to sleeping tonight. I was afraid to dream about being Red Eye again.
"Valty, wake up. Let's go home."
I shook him awake gently. He stretched as I got up and held out my hand to help him up. He accepted the offer as I pulled him up off the ground.

When we got home I started to feel weird. I didn't feel sick, but it was still a weird feeling.
