Chapter 24

I am nervous, I'm nervous, why the hell am I nervous. Lisa chanted as she paced around her room and waited for Vernon to pick her up wearing a knee length silk lilac dress.

Her original plan was to drive by herself but being the crackhead or gentleman he offered to take me with him.

Vernon video called me last night and he said, liz can I drive you please.

Uh no thanks, I'm fully capable of driving myself hun.

Vernon pouted again and started making weird aigoo faces at this screen.

Lisa couldn't say no to that face, she said yes. Here she was pacing now in the lounge of the hotel, still waiting for Vernon who was running late.

Ten had chosen to wear a white shirt and black jeans. As Lisa turned back, her eyes met his and she looked away, crossing her hand to her chest and looking as if nothing had happened.

All the boys had left earlier than she imagined and she rolled her eyes thinking that she'll be the last one to go.

But Ten was here along with Mark, uh uh.

Noona, you look beautiful, he said smiling like a cutie he is.

Lisa blushed as she returned the favour he actually looked handsome.

Mark had told his heart that he had to love Lisa like her noona and nothing else...

He linked her arm in his and started walking with a clueless Ten behind who was texting someone.

Lisa smiled looking at him, and pulled him back, my driver isn't here, oops I meant Vernon he was supposed to pick me up. Where are you taking me?

Mark loved her ranting so did Ten, he smiled from ear to ear but then he let his emotions hide for the time being.

Ten came towards them and nodded at Mark, some sort of telepathy had been going on between those two.

They linked their arms in Lisa's and dragged her towards the exit.

What is wrong with you boys, she gasped at them.

Their timing was so wrong, her bodyguard thought she was being kidnapped he pushed both the boys singlehandedly back as he concernedly looked at the girl.

Miss are you alright?

Adam!! How many times do I have to say it.

Miss, you don't need to thank me.

Ugh, you're so full of yourself bud.

Adam smiled at her because he knew what he meant but what he didn't know what she was being kidnapped.

Lisa walked up the boys who were still groaning in pain, she crouched down. Are you okay, I'm so sorry on behalf of that thick skulled idiot.

Ten said they were alright, lol. Adam helped them get up and looked at Lisa as if asking her if he should apologise, Lisa rolled her eyes.

Yes Adam, you should apologise instead do us another favour and drive us to this restaurant.

The poor lad was amused and shocked but he did what the lady told her to do.

The car ride was silent and only marks soft snores could be heard, that sleepy head felt asleep on Lisa's shoulder and she could feel him drooling.

Lisa wasn't sure about doing this but she hold on to tens hands which made him look at her for the first time ever. His cheeks turned red as he mumbled you look pretty and Adam chuckled.

Note: i feel so bad for not updating regularly but I have no other choice. I have exams going on and Ramadan too. However, I'll keep posting not regularly thou. Take care and I love you xoxo
