Birthday Wish (Austin Mahone Fanfic)

Chapter 3 Part 2

Continuing Austin's POV:

I still think that she likes Alex more than anyone else in the school. I was just thinking again about Kayla but I was soon interupted by my homeroom teacher once she got off the phone with someone. She looked around the room and looked at me and then at Kayla. 

After she looked at both of us, she said "Austin Mahone and Kayla Constancio, they need you in the main office. I guess the principal need to talk to both of you. Please take your things with you just in case you are there the whole time you have homeroom. Please hurry because they are waiting for you guys in the office now." 

We both took our things and made our way to the main office. On the way there, I was just thinking about Kayla. Her last name came to mind and I was about to say something to her how she knew Alex and if she is related to him but I was interupted agian but this time was by the principal outside in the hallway just waiting for us to get there. 

So I just followed Kayla and the principal into her office. I sat down next to Kayla in front of the principal just waiting for her to say whatever she needs to tell us already. 

She just sat there looking at Kayla and I. But I kind of saw a look in her eyes that was like she didn't want to say whatever it is. But also sadness was in her eyes too. 

She looked down at her desk before she spoke to us.

First she looked at Kayla. Then she finally spoke to Kayla. "I'm so so so so so so sorry Ms. Constancio. I hate to say this but your mom, Mrs. Constancio, called me and said that she couldn't tell you herself. So she told me to tell you but I hate to say that your dad had passed away this morning after you left for school. I already talked to Alex and he said that he wanted to stay in school so he doesn't miss anymore days of school because we all know how he likes to miss school days when he has to take a test on that day and then he falls behind but this time, he wanted to stay in school with his friends. I'm really sorry Kayla" she finally told Kayla. 

I looked over at Kayla and saw shock, sadness, and concerned in her eyes. Her eyes were slowly getting red and starting to puff out. She looked so sad. I wish I could help but I can't because I barely know her. I need to get to know her later on but for now, I will just let her have some space.

After the principal told Kayla about her dad passing away this morning, which is super sad to hear. The principal finally looked at me.  

"I'm also so so so so so so so sorry Mr. Mahone. Your grandmother, your mother's mom, called me to tell me to tell you that your mother has passed away this morning after you left for school too. She wanted to tell you herself but she sounded like she was crying on the phone and also she was going on a mini vacation to her hometown in Florida. She also said that you will be staying at Kayla's house with your friend/Kayla's brother Alex Constancio. I'm so sorry Austin for your lost. I hope you and Kayla can become friends and help each other out since you both lost someone that means so much to you guys. I'm sorry Austin" she finally told me.

"I'm here for you guys if you need anyone to talk to or need help with anything. I'm giving you both a decision between going back to the Mrs. Constancio's house  take off for the rest of the week or stay in school for the rest of the day and take off for the rest of the week. But whatever you both choose, I will get your classwork and homework for the rest of the week and today and send it home with Alex. But I need to know now so I know what I'm doing" she told both of us.

Kayla looked over at me and I looked at her and we both nodded at each other.

"We want to go back to my place after this meeting is over. So if you can send both mine and Austin's homework and classwork home with Alex that will be perfect for both of us. Thank you so much for telling us about our losts in our families. I will talk to my mom about having Austin stay with us for a while since his grandmother is in Florida on her own vacation without her only grandson. Thanks again for telling us. We will see you next week when we get back from our mini one week vacation" Kayla finally spoke up and told our principal.

"I would get your homework and stuff together and you guys can come and pick up your stuff later today when I call Mrs. Constancio. You both can leave now and go back to Kayla's house. I'm still sorry for your losts" our principal told both of us.

We got up and started to walk out to my car since Kayla doesn't drive yet. I know the way to Alex's house since Alex and I are best friends/brothers and I went over to his house before like alot of different times. 

We got into the car and putted our seat beats on to be safe just in case we got into an accident. I don't want to have Kayla hurt and have Alex kick my ass for hurtting his sister which I'm still not sure if it's true or not. 

I started driving to Kayla's house. The whole ride there were major quiet and awkward. 

*15 minutes later*

We reached her house and I parked the car and we both got out and went inside since I have a key and so does Kayla of course. 

Once we were both inside, Kayla went upstairs and I followed but I went into Alex's bedrom and Kayla went into another bedroom that was kinda decorated with pink and purple walls, posters of me, and pictures of her friends and the crew. 

Wait, she has posters of me and pictures of me?!?!?!?! Does she like me or something????

I hope you guys like this part. I will post chapter 4 soon if I have the time. I have to get all my stuff together for vacation and also go and get the things that I need to buy. But I hope you like this part. Love u guys
