Chapter 1

Ruby's POV

Kai was carrying me in his arm with his Taken wings dropping me off, near a cliff where's my mom's grave was. We landed on the grass, I went walk up to mom's grave.

Ruby: You know you can go back to the stadium.

Kai: Are you sure?

Ruby: Yeah, and beside. Dad's house isn't too far from here.

Kai: I hope, I can meet your dad someday.

Ruby: Yeah....someday.

Kai: Alright. I'm heading back to Beacon, Ozpin wanted to talk me again.

Ruby: Ok. I'll see later, love you.

I went gave him a kiss, then he teleports back to Beacon. I went to talk to mom. I was lowering my hood, smiling sadly downward.

Ruby: Hey, mom. Sorry I haven't come by in a while. Things have been... well, things have been, pretty busy. Oh, Dad's here, too! He's, uh, you know... Dad. *shrugs* He's still teaching at Signal. But he told me that he's going to be on some mission soon. I think he misses adventuring with you. *looks forlornly* I miss you too. *pause* Haven't gotten kicked out of Beacon yet! So that's cool. I think being on a team with Yang helps. Keep her in line... That was a joke. She's actually a really great fighter! You can tell she's learned a lot from Dad! Oh, so are Weiss and Blake. Oh! They're my teammates! Together, we form Team RWBY! And yes, before you ask, that does cause a lot of confusion. Anyways, I made a bunch of new friends, and then I met some... let's just say, uh, odd teachers. Oh! I also have a boyfriend, his name is Kai and he's really cool boyfriends, bakes me cookies, to be honest it kinda makes me remember you, when eat his cookies, and also Yang is also dating Kai's brother he's cool guy and likes Yang's puns. We've also stopped some bad guys, too! I guess it's like they say: "like mother, like daughter"! I still wonder why Ozpin let me into the school early. But uh, I guess he'll tell me one day. You know how he is. It's funny, the more I get to know him, the more he's starting to sound like Uncle Qrow.

???: *bark*

I turned around and saw Zwei and dad standing side by side, next to a few trees.

Ruby: Oh! Looks like dad's back. I gotta go! He's dropping me off at Beacon for the tournament match before he goes on his next mission! Wish me luck!

I put my hood back over my head and ran to my dad.

Ruby: Ok let's get going!

Taiyang: When were you going to tell me about your boyfriend.

Ruby: *blush* How did you know?! Did Yang told you?!

Taiyang: No, I just saw you kissing him and he teleports away.

Ruby: Oh.

Taiyang: His he treating you well? He's not breaking my daughter's heart is he?

Ruby: No, he's sweet, cool and bakes me cookies.

Taiyang: Well ok, as longest he's not breaking my daughter's heart, he is fine by me, Now let's go!

3rd person POV

Away from the sky and over the grassy mountains, where a stadium of epic proportions is seen. Crowds are cheering in the stands, visitors from all over the world. In the field of forest earth and ocean sea below, Soul and swings his Drageh Dow Arc mode at target as Jackson exchanges blows with Ziva, the blades of her Raze-Lighter colliding with the sword of his opponent until he flips away, readies himself, and charges in again. Behind him, Star shooting her arrows as the sound of her mystical power is heard, and finally Zack dodges the explosive force of Wendy's fist before returning Eletricity with his own fist.
