Kai's POV

I was walking in the forest heading to Ruby's to find her, and my brother I sense him, but he's weak. I walked for a long I have no idea what time it is. I was tired, weak, injured, and I can barley walk. I when trip with a rock and fall down to the ground. I went closed my eyes to rest a bit, but everything goes dark until I open my eyes slowly and noticed a somebody is stand in front of me. I tried to open my eyes completely but, couldn't only by closing it again, as I did I felt was being dragged by the ground. I hear a voice echoing.

???: You're going to owe me, big time you shit head.

Ruby's POV

I was in my room sitting in a chair in my pajama staring outside of the window seeing the birds in sky flying. I looked back at my nightstand, Ghost and Red. I turn took Zack as he's getting weaker by the moment. Then I hear the door opening, I turn around seeing dad, bringing me some to drink.

Ruby: Oh, hey dad.

Taiyang: Hey Rube, I brought some hot chocolate, and it has extra sugar.

Ruby: I...I'm not in the mood for hot chocolate, but thanks.

Taiyang: Oh...Well I but in the nightstand if you change your mind.

Ruby: Yeah.

While puts the mug in the night stand, I noticed something outside walking toward the house. I got from my sit and I my eye slowly widened. I went run out of the room, heading outside.

Taiyang: Ruby, where you going?!

I run and opened the door and run outside, and see the person that's walking toward the house.

Taiyang: Ruby, what was all that about.

Ruby: No.

As I looked at the person, I begin to see who it is.

Taiyang: Ruby, what's wrong and who's that?

Ruby: Crimson.

Crimosn: Isn't the little Rose, good to see you.

Ruby: What are you doing here?

Crimson: Just bringing a small peace offering.

I see him dragging something, he goes tosses it in front of us. It was person, it tumbled a few feet from us.

Ruby: *gasp*

It's Kai. As I saw him, tears begin to stream down my cheek. I run to him and lean down, I went pick him, seeing that he's really injured and broken armor. I looked back at him, and confused.

Ruby: Why help him? I thought you wanted to kill him?

Taiyang: Kill him?

Crimson: I am going to kill him, but not like this. I want him at full strength, same level as me, then we can have a fair fight.

Ruby: Huh? What do you mean?

Crimson: Is none of your business Red.

Then I went looked back at him and he begins to leave. Then I went stopped him, by a asking one question.

Ruby: Was it you?

Crimson: Hm?

Ruby: You help the Cabal to attack Beacon, didn't you?

Crimson: Maybe you aren't as stupid as you look, Red.

Ruby: Why help them?!
