A Hidden Secret

Blaziken looked at May laying in bed, she was very worried. She knew it was just a fever, but Blaziken could help thinking it might be something worse. Blaziken looked around May's bedroom. They were alone. She understood what she had to do. She closed her eyes and a light cream colored glow started surround Blaziken.

Max was outside sitting in the sun with his Mudkip, when he saw a light come out of Mays bedroom window.

"Huh?" He said as he watch the strange light turn pink. "that looks like Heal Pulse."

Max started running into the house and up the stairs, but as he came to Mays door the glowing stopped. He stepped in to find Blaziken leaning against the wall, and May still sleeping in her bed. Max scratched his head in confusion. The next morning, May came walking down the stairs with Blaziken following close behind.

"May," Her mom said in shock. "you should still be in bed!"

"I know mom, but I feel a little better. So I wanted to walk around a bit."

"Ok honey. Max is in the backyard training his Mudkip."

May walked out to the backyard to see how her brother was doing. When she and Blaziken stepped out of the back door she saw that Max was working on Water Gun. Blaziken stayed near the house wall so she would not get hit. At the sound of May's footsteps Max turned and greeted her.

"Hi May, I thought you were in bed."

"I was feeling better so I wanted to get out and walk." As May said this they heard a thud right next to them and they jumped back in surprise.

A stranger with a black cloak and a white mask stood there. The stranger had both of Max and Mays bags. The stranger handed the bags over to both of them. The bags were full and ready to go. Max and May looked at stranger in confusion. The took the bags from the stranger's gloved hands. 

"Get going. You two need to leave, or you'll put your family in danger." The stranger said in a serious tone.

May and Max were shocked, their family... in danger.. how? The stranger then jumped into a tree and out of sight.

"May. What does that person mean by danger?"

She looked at Max.

"I don't know, but whatever she meant seems to have Blaziken concerned. Well, since I'm better why not start traveling now?"

Max nodded.

"Yeah if Blaziken is worried then we should go." Max in agreement.

"Are you sure dear? The fever might of not have fully broke."

Their mom said concerned as they walked out the door.

"Sure mom. I feel just fine!" May said smiling appearing to have nothing to worry about.

"Well alright. Just promise me that you will take extra care of yourselves."

"We will! Love you mom! May said as they started running to Rustboro City. Once they made it to Rustboro City they stopped at the pokemon center to rest. After having a short break they were on their way again.

"Max, you need to catch more pokemon. All you have right now is your Mudkip."

"Don't worry May. I'll catch something in the next tall grass."

As they walked, they came to some tall grass. Max went to walk in the tall grass. While May stood nearby watching. After a few minutes Max found a Wingull.

While Drew walked he looked up into the bright blue sky. Its been a day since Drew talked to Harley and May. Drew was going to Mauville City to do a contest there. As he walked he heard voices. He stopped and saw a boy with dark auburn hair and black eyes, with a girl who had straight dark blue hair and eyes silently arguing. Though Drew could still hear what they were saying.

"Kenny, you're the one got us lost! So you need to get us unlost!" The girl said angrily.  

"Well Dee-dee I think I grabbed the wrong map." The boy said.

"What!! Which map did you get??"

"Our Johto map" He said smiling and chuckling.

"This is not funny Kenny!"

At this point the boy named Kenny had noticed Drew standing there watching them. 

"Hey there!" Kenny waved. "Are you from around here? We need some help."

"So I've heard." Drew said.

As Drew walked over to them Kenny said. "I'm Kenny and this is my friend Dawn." He gestured to the girl behind him. "We are from the Sinnoh region."

Dawn just stared at Drew.

"Um... Kenny... Do you know who we are talking to?"

"No I don't, but do you?" 

The girl Dawn looked like she was going to go fan girl.

"This is the prince of Hoenn, Drew!" Kenny just laughed.

"HA HA HA HA HA! You are really funny Dawn!" While Kenny and Dawn were arguing about Drew. Drew had his head down lost in thought.

"Dawn... Dawn..." He mused. "Where have I heard that name before? Hmm."

Drew snapped his head up. "I remember where I saw you. You were the girl who defeated May at the Wallace Cup."

Dawn stopped arguing with Kenny and looked at Drew in surprise.

"You watched that battle? Wait a minute, May did say something about having a hard time defeating someone named Harley and... wait..."

There was a gust of wind and a stranger with a mask appeared right behind them. The trio jumped in surprise as the stranger said,.

"You need to go help your friends. They're in danger!" The trio looked at each other in confusion. Drew asked, "Who are you anyway?"

The stranger said. "I'm.... Eko, but enough about me. Like I said before. Your friends are in danger!"

After Max caught the Wingull, they walked for a while before taking a break to eat. They decided stopped near the ocean. May was preparing lunch while Max was playing with all their pokemon. Except Blaziken who stayed close to May. All of a sudden the pokemon stopped playing and looked down the beach. May and Max looked where the pokemon were looking. There was a group of men and women walking toward them. They all wore dark green cloaks, with dark blue gloves, boots, and pants. They also wore blood red masks. They all had pokemon, but mainly Crawdaunt, Croconaw, Vaporeon, and the leader who was in the front had a red Gyarados. May and Max watched as the groups leader told the group to stop. He walked over to May and Max.

"I am Gyro. The leader of Team Delta." He pointed at May. "Come with us, and do not resist."

As soon as Gyro said that Blaziken jumped and landed in front of May blocking her from Gyro. Blaziken said in a lower female voice, "May, you can't trust them."

Everyone gasped in surprise. May stammered, Bl.. Blaziken.... you can talk?"

"Yes I can."

"How long have you been able to do this?"

"Ever since you chose me." Blaziken turned her attention back to Gyro. "Lets have a pokemon battle. If you win she'll go with you."
