Fire and Roses (Extremely Slow Update)

Memories

Eko looked at her surroundings, trees with green leaves shuffled in the breeze, wild pokemon scrambled here and there.

"IT DOESN'T BELONG HERE!"

Eko remembered this memory very well. It was when she was still in the lab. She had heard many people talk about her like she wasn't even there. They had told her that she was incomplete, deformed, and..... Should be killed. Even so, at least Eko had few good memories before the lab. There was girl who had a Squirtle. She was Eko's best friend. They had been on many adventures together, seen so many things. Nothing could break their friendship. Until that day.... they were exploring a mountain. Trying to get to the top, but there was one thing in our way, a pool of bubbling lava. Eko told her that they should try to find another way around. Though the girl just laughed, and told Eko that it would be ok. The next thing Eko knew, all she could see was black. She couldn't see, feel, or touch anything. She didn't know how long she had been in the blackness, but she was still in that state when the lab people found her. After many years of being trapped in the lab, she had finally escaped.

Eko snapped herself out of her thoughts and stood up from her from her sitting position against a tree. This was no time for mindless memories. She needed to protect those kids. She didn't know why. All she knew is that there is something horrible coming, and they're at the center of it.

They were all walking through the forest now. May had recovered and was allowed to leave the Pokemon Center. Drew felt extremely awkward at the moment. After his sister's outburst, Drew had to explain to everyone how his parents absolutely despised May. So currently May was walking next to Drew, and April was far ahead of them talking to Dawn, Kenny, and Max with her Gabite, Sky, while May's Blaziken with Drew's Absol was behind the whole group. Everything was going fine when, they heard a ruffle of leaves, and shouting. Everyone stopped, looked in the direction where the shouting was coming from, and waited. It didn't take long before a strange pokemon leaped out of the bush. It ran on four legs, its body was grey, and had a giant yellow scale on its forehead. It stopped stared at them in fear, but when more shouts came that we're even closer, it rushed up to May and jumped in her arms. May, still shaken from yesterday, almost fell over, but Blaziken held her up. At that moment two men in black clothes with a big red R on the front came tearing through the bushes (N/A. Of course Team Rocket gotta be here! Pokemon would never be the same without them!)
They stopped when they saw Drew and Co, but when they saw the pokemon in May's arms, they pulled out pokeballs.

"Give us that pokemon or else!" One of them said.

"Yeah!" The other one said.

Drew wasn't sure if he was supposed to be surprised here cuz honestly, he really wasn't. Before the Rocket Grunts could bring out their pokemon.

"Mightyena use Take-Down!"

The grunts turned around just in time to be rocketed up to the sky by a powerful Take-Down. Behind the Mightyena came running Professor Birch.

"Well done Mightyena!" Pro. Birch said patting it's head. It gave a happy growl.

"Hi Pro. Birch," May said running up to him. "what are doing here?"

"Hello there May!" Birch smiled. He looks over May and noticed the group. "Hello there everyone!" Looks back to May. "I'm here because Team Rocket stole a new pokemon I'm going to research."

May looks down at the pokemon in her arms. "Is this it? What pokemon is it? I've never seen anything like it before."

Birch chuckled. "Well, well, it seems that he's chosen you!

May looked confused. "Chosen?"

"Yes May, chosen" Brich gently rubbed the pokemon's yellow scale. "you see, this little guy wouldn't listen to a word I said. Or even let me touch him. The pokemon is called Jangmo-o. It's a speices from the Alola region. I was going to try to bond with it when team Rocket scared it away. Now it seems like such a shame to take the pour guy away from you."

"So what you're saying is that you want me to watch over this Pokemon for you?" May asked.

Birch smiled. "You read me like a book May! Well I better be going now. I'll see you all later!" Birch waved goodbye to the group, and left with his Mightyena. The Jangmo-o looked up at May with an unreadable look. Now Drew, Max, Dawn, Kenny, and April (who was still trying as far away from May as possible) surrounded May looking at her new pokemon.

"I've heard of this pokemon. If I remember correctly it's a dragon type!" Kenny remarked.

Max reajusted his glasses. "I looks like it could have the ability Bulletproof or some other ability."

RING RING RING PHONE CALL PHONE CALL!! The whole group jumped as Kenny took out is pokephone.

"Hheellloooo, this is King Kenny speaking."

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN???" Screamed a female voice on the phone. Everyone covered their ears. "YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE AT OUR PLACE TWO HOURS AGO!!! DO EVEN NOT HOW WORRIED I'VE BEEN??"

Kenny covered his phone, and wispered to the group. "Sorry, it's my Aunt." He put the phone back to his ear. "Sorry Aunt Mary. We got lost and met some friends."

"OHHHH YOU JUST GOT LOST AND JUST HAPPENED TO MEET SOME FRIENDS. YOU COULD'VE TOLD ME!!!"

"Well it was nice hearing from you Aunt. We will be on our way soon, bye!" Kenny quickly hung up his pokephone.

"Well guys, Dawn and I have to go. At lease before my Aunt sends a search party after us." Kenny chuckled.

Before Dawn and Kenny went off to his Aunt's the group had a quick picnick lunch. After they had cleaned up, Dawn and Kenny waved goodbye as they left the group. Leaving May, Drew, Max, and April starting twords the next Gym and Contest. Little did they know that their every move is being watched.

There was a dark room with no lighting. Two men were standing within that room. One, looked worried as he said,

"Boss... She's with him." The other man gave an evil smirk.

"Don't worry about it Gravol. It's all apart of the plan. Soon we will have the power, the power to make our Pokemon the strongest of all. People will come and see. See and then all will vanish. Forever." The man who first spoke, looked scared at the man who had the evil grin. The scared man opened a door and quickly left the room.

Well, it has been quite awhile. Though this chapter was already halve way finished so I decided to finish it. The next chapter will focus more on May and Drew. Well I hope you all enjoyed this new chapter! See you all!!
