Fire and Roses (Extremely Slow Update)

Absol and Blaziken "Help out": Attempt 1

Blaziken yawned and stretched out on the Pokemon Center floor. What happened last night really made her tired.

"Are you going back to sleep again?" Teased Absol.

Blaziken sat up calmly and said.

"Well I was thinking of doing that," She turned her head and looked at Absol. "but I have a noisy pokemon bothering me."

"Oh ho, there's that back bone I was looking for! Now get up, I need your help." Absol jumped over her and started walking to the room were May slept.

"Help with what?" Blaziken asked as she got up and slowly followed Absol.

"Oh we're just going to 'help out' Drew and May." Absol said with a grin. "If you're thinking what I'm thinking."

"I'm thinking what you're thinking Absol," Blaziken said smirking. "I'll gladly help."

Absol and Blaziken stopped at the door and looked in. They saw May sleeping and Drew watching her from the other side of the room. The others were out buying supplies. They saw that May and Drew alone and walked in.

"What are you guys doing?" Drew asked in a suspicious tone. "It better not be what I think it is."

"Wha? What! Where am I?" May sat up so fast that she almost fell out of the bed.

Drew walked over to the bed and gently pushed May back lying down.

"You're in the Pokemon Center May. Don't worry. Nurse Joy said that all you need is some rest."

Absol and Blaziken just watched, smiling.

"I guess they don't need our help." Absol said.

"Though we do need to 'help out'. That's what the chapter is called after all." Blaziken said with a even bigger grin then ever.

"Well maybe sometime later. By the way. What's chapter?" Absol said as he and Blaziken left the room, but stayed right behind the door to listen.

"I don't know dude. The word just came to me." Blaziken whispered.

May looked up at Drew, and saw a worried expression on his face. Or was her mind playing tricks on her?

"Hey, Drew?"

"What is it May?" Drew said as he sat down on a chair next to her.

"Were you worried about me?"

Drew started to blush. On the inside that is. To be honest he really was worried for her. It was painful for him to see her so weak, so vulnerable, so helpless. He felt a pain in his chest whenever he saw people hurting her or when she's in pain. The pain made him want to keep May from getting hurt. He wanted to keep her close to him so that he could protect her. Though if he did that, he would be bashed by his parents. Who didn't like May at all.

Wait. Why would I want her close to me?  Also, why am I even worrying for her so much?

Seeing that May was still waiting for an answer he said.

"Nah, I wasn't worried. I knew you'd be fine. By the way I liked your banana bandana when you changed." Drew said with his usual smirk.

"You're so mean Cabbage Head."

"Mr. Drew your mom's on the phone." Nurse Joy called.

Drew got up from his chair leaving May. Who was now asleep. He sat down at the phone booth and said.

"Hi mom!"

"Hello honey," His mom said "How have your travels been?"

His mom was a tall pale skinned woman who had green eyes with black hair that was in a bun.
