The House

                                                 Chapter 2 The House

 It was hours until we finally arrived at our new home, and let me tell you, that it needed a lot of work. I mean The whole place needed work. Just the outside you could tell it needed work. It needs a new layer of paint on the walls, it looks like the roof might cave in, there is a garden but it was covered in weeds, the lawn needed mowed, and the steps leading up to the house looked very unstable, but the yard was fantastic, it had trees on each side of the dirt road that leads to the house. I could tell that the garden used to be very beautiful in the past years because of the different plants and flowers that were among the weeds. The dirt road led right to the house and it had a spot to park up to 4 vehicles. The front door of the house was actually in good condition. The backyard was slightly bare from trees for about a little less then an acre but the rest of the backyard was Forest which made me want to go explore.

 When Father parked the car we got out and walked inside the house where Father walked into a hallway and went into the first door to the left where I presume was the master bedroom, so that left just me to explore the house and that made me very, VERY excited. I walked to the kitchen and it was actually quite nice. The kitchen was a dark blue color with black trim, and tiled flooring and it had a nice fridge, stove, and a dishwasher!!!!! Also it had plenty of counter space, and next to the kitchen was an open room that was the dining room. The dining room was also in good condition, it had a nice solid wood table with four chairs surrounding it, the room was painted a brownish color with hardwood flooring. I next went past the room in which my Father went into and into the next door to the right of the hallway. When I opened the door it led to a  very nice bathroom which had a walk-in shower that was in pristine shape! The bathroom was painted brownish with brownish tiled flooring. I next exited the bathroom and headed to the last door which is at thee end of the hallway right next to the bathroom. I opened the door and saw a room with light pink walls and hardwood flooring with a white rug right next to the bed that was made out of white wood bed frame that matched the white rug, and the covers was a plain light pink color that matched the walls. There was a dresser and a desk with an old chair. This room was honestly the best room I've had since my mother died. I walked back to the car and took out all of my things and put them in my room. I spent the rest of the day unpacking my stuff and then I had a quick supper and went to bed.

 This was a boring chapter but it was just a filler chapter and it will definetly get a lot more exciting I hope! Thanks for reading and please vote, comment, and follow!
